Just a basic poll, i was thinking the other day, I sure don't play this game too much except when i drink. It is very sad, I agree, but I can't say I play better, but I sure get things a lot quicker in my drunken irate state. So, just a simple poll, you like to play while on "something?"
edit: well even further proof that its not a good idea to always be in a dif mind state cause I even fucked up on this post, was supposed to be a poll. lolz.

Err... no. I'm clean.
I prefer to play sober, however I tend to achieve more and loose less items when I drunk at 3am in the morning. I think that it due to NC making me feel dizzy, which causes me playing problems. If I'm drunk then I'm dizzy, which counter balances the NC dizzy effect. Therefore I play better.
I used to drink a hell of alot, when I played NC while drunk my PvP suffered as my reactions and awareness were dulled down. Same when I got high.
It is fun as everything is so much more interesting and I got much more sociable - but very abusive to others on occasion, which isn't the image I like to convey :o
These days I very rarely drink as in the end I had somewhat of a "problem".. binge drinking and the like. Better off without it.

omg it was so funny, i fell asleep mass BPing something and woke up the next morning with it completed :confused:
last time i played really hammered i woke up with meh char logged in in the apartment waiting for SI to wear off.....then i notices i had -36SL :P
I have played stoned I made a fresh character 0/2 with the knife :lol: and found some AFK player oh the joy I had laughed my ass off for 10 mins stabbing some player to death :lol: :wtf:

rarely play under any influence, sometimes play stoned but im not a big stoner, more of a casual one so its normally when i play after getting home from somewhere and the effects are wearing
Tried playing drunk a couple times, didn't really like it. Playing stoned is pretty cool, especially when you synch into someone else's app and its 5 mins before you figure out what just happened. But usually when im stoned i eat all the damn time, no time for NC.
playing stoned is soo fun, adds a totally new dimension lolz...never played drunk tbh sicne i cant get it from stores(im only 15 ya see) but stoned is fun :p

It's a cyberpunk RPG, it seems to be going down quite well so I assume it's pretty good. I quite enjoyed playtesting it (my one and only foray into traditional RPG) and they had plenty fun writing a combat system from scratch.

i dont drink often or heavily actually, and i only when theres good reason to ie. its a party or maybe on a friday, i cut down on mygoing out time a lot for my A2 year
if im going to go jam with some of my friends i'll maybe smoke a joint or 2 but not drink, i wouldnt do anything harder than weed
i recon weed is great for having a few m8s over and cracking some joaks cos everything becomes different and its especially good in a safe environment
drunk is quite good for socialising and feeling well...drunk - id say with drink you loose your head a bit more
omg NC on magic mushrooms LOLZ
this one time i had 4 mushrooms in my sandwich. logged to NC and saw WBs everywhere and the floor just kept fading into everything it was so weird and incredibly funny , the screen also turned blck and white a few times and i ended up dying at MB

well it did to me :) duno if they were big or small but they did the job i really did trip alot , the black and white flashes were really weird..
petrified shrooms are pretty strong, 3 or 4 would do the trick lol

playing nc stoned is WAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYY better then being drunk and playing it, oh yes. But it also kinda sucks becaus you get introuble alot in clan becaus you do so much nonsense shit haha fun to piss of my clan though , they all suck anyways im so high right now,yeaaaaa

playing a computer game does not alter your perception of reality. unless you're completely fucked up, you're still aware of the surrounding reality as you know it. drugs, on the other hand, screw with you mind and alter your perception. i play games cause they're fun, but frankly, real life can be lots of fun too.
Ponder it for a moment; Reality is an accumulation of your biases based on events you have experienced. Anything you do alters your perception of reality.
(P.S. I pissed off most of terra while drunk)

thats exactly how I feel not a big smoker of weed but from time to time I will get stoned its good if you don't smoke to much

Snakebite's are sick lol, i've played high, mainly because i dont get high anymore, but ooh yes ive had some fun drunk lol, back when i was at school, and had just started playing NC, i was pissed offa my head on Whitelighting (i know i know) and when i logged back in i didnt have a single item on me, or imp in my head lol

i think it's fair here to separate "reality" and "virtual reality" into two seperate categories here, because "virtual reality" is simply a mock of reality (at best) created inside reality. in other words, being in the latter does not alter my perception of the former. granted, you may be different. were you one of those that huddled into a corner after playing doom3? ;)

I've played NC after coming home from a hefty drinking session a few times, I normally log in the next day and ask myself why the hell I'm in the random location I am. :p

snakebite & black only became diesel when i got to uni and heard the sport team peeps call it. You at a manchester uni ??? you msut be to make a big thing out of it lololololololololol...
wanna becareful with it matey....2for1 drinks = 12 pints of diesel in few hours makes for colourful toilet break before bedtime :lol:

but thing i wanted to say is about the mushrooms: the thing that they are legal only when they arent handled ... as in dried/altered or even mixed in a recipe for a candybar or sumthing is certainly true in holland where they are "kinda" legal .. but i have no clue if this would be in other country's also .. if ya know then do tell me ! fact is that ya can yust get em in a park or sumthing near you and yust eat em fresh from the ground (there's a few growing outside here so i tell no-one and everytime i go out with the dog i yust eat the ones i find ya see :P got a nice harvest yesterday lol -disclaimer- i recommend noöne in eating a mushroom fresh from the ground, some very poisonous kind of shrooms resemble the hallucinogen one quite well ya see)
as for the person playing while under influence of hallucinogens, maybe with a few of them nice mushrooms thats no problem but as soon as ya have swallowed a few to much i can agree ya youre unable to play :) problem is that when you look at youre screen youre focussing more on the edges of youre screen that start changing in diffrent ways then youre looking at the game itself :P
would be a waste of mushroom tough, yust sitting behind youre computer hehe :)
