Hello Chummers!

First I have to appologize for my english. I hope its understandable :(

Last week i changed my signature and some germans asked me for the lomcalculator.
This was the impulse for me to write a new version of it after weeks of laziness.
Yes I know there exists an other one ;)

Want I need:
For the new version I need some data from the community.
I need the XP before and after taking a lom cause I donīt use a formular any more.
So if you lom in the next few days donīt forget me.
With enaugh data the calculator would work exact.

Please donīt give me data from con loming!
If you take a lom under con the data raises softly but so the data would be wrong.

For the new gamers who donīt know what a lomcalculator ist, I append a link to the attachment picture to the version from yesterday.

Thx in advance for all who will help

Example what I need as template:

XP before: 11315756
XP after: 11261284

---------------------------------
This is from NC-1 though, not sure it is unchanged in NC-2.
The LoXP is loss of XP per LoM.
As you can see there is lots of gaps in the LoXP column, but a good start.

What would be an nice function and easy to implement would be "pills needed". An input box with current skill value and desired skillvalue.

Like if i would have to LoM RCL 162 to RCL 0 i would need X loms (93 LoMs if im correct), then i could get calculated how xp i would loose when taking 93 LoMs.

Great idea.
I try to implement it in the next version.

Next Version.
I think you mean something like that ;)

JustIn_Case

Yup, something like that.

To make it even better i would suggest something like:
(For each skill/subskill)

---------------------
INT:[current level] [current xp]
---------------------
HCK:[current] [desired]
IMP:[current] [desired]
...
...
---------------------

This way ill find out:

Lost xp + levels for each skill block.
Wich and how many LoMs i need to buy.

Since when switching from, lets say Droner->Rifle you need to LoM lots of skills in INT/DEX/STR/CON, not just one skill.

Just a way to make it perfect ;)

Ultra good suggestion follows below:

-> XML import. Function for import skills from Alpha Gremlins NeoSkiller.

2 Functions, one for importing current skills and one for importing desired skills.

That would be an awesome extention to Alpha Gremlins NeoSkiller.

And change your words loose to loss so it doesn't hurt my soul every time I read it :)

Ooh, This is good, but annoying. I started making this the other day. In PHP though. When you code it send me the code and i'll see about making it into a web site/page whatever you want to call it.

 PHP.

OK small changes include the 'loss' thing ;)
(and fixed 2 bugs that noone saw except me :))

@Xeno LARD: If its final I will translate it to Java

@JustIn_Case: You have what I need. The ideas.
It should be a small tool but you would make a application what can do anything.
Hm... we will see. I like your ideas :)

I'm impressed that people are actually using my program :) With Haojan's permission, I'll see about adding something similar into the next version or so. Or perhaps bundle it, don't want to put everyone out of business.

My tool should be a small tool.
If you want to implement it in your Application (too big for a tool :p) AlphaGremlin, I will send you the whole code with the Excel Table etc.

Its not finished and not 100 %.

But its more exact than all otheres I ever found ;)

Just give me you E-Mailadress and I will send you the latest Version.
To all otheres who read that: Only to AlphaGremlin. I like his tool. It is better than the one from Smoker ever was.

Latest Version 1.01.41d incl. sourcecode is in the mailbox of AlphaGremlin
I am glad that someone with better english will look inside the code :D

Maybe that will make the changes JustIn_Case want possible for the future?
