With the new glove my ppu now cant lvl with anyone cus he has a rank of 74/48... come on KK tone down the support class rank a little so we can help ppl that are not caped and still get EXP :mad:

mine has rank 89/66 without glove and i still get teamxp
so youre doing something wrong
Maybe you arent teaming people of high rank?
maby he wants to be able to keep ppl alive and wants to stick with ppl arround his own real rank, but with that rank his own skill rank buddies wont give him shit..
a /48 ppu can be helpful in caves forinstance to damage boost and leech exp. It is possible to manage with a /48 ppu alone too. Maby that is what he means, he cant lvl with the same skill ranked buddies or ppl in general arround /48
Even at cap and 85 - 95/68 you might want to be able to team up with ppl too help and to get some money. The ranks of ppu's have been messed up a while. arround 70 - 76 is dooable.
my hybrid is 113/63 so i don't know what ur complaining about and my ppu was 77 before the glove.

Well as an hybrid you dont rely on team xp the same way as an PPU does, especially since your Hybrid is a HL PE defence one.
His problem is that hes xx/48 with that high combat rank.

like he says your all missing the point. anna cannings. your all capped or near capped he's /48 lol he levels with people that have WAY lower ranks. my APU just got upto 55/56 ( 60/55 with psi 3 ) but my lower char thats just 27/39 max or so lol..
saying he should level with spy's or monks aint a real sollution eighter.. cause tanks and pe's need some ppu loving to.

tone down your mana pool somewhat...that will lower your combat rank...course you will go thru boosters quicker..but its a small price to pay for xp :)
Since I don't poke around my monk so much these days as I did like a year back, I have been losing some hot monk on monk action.
If you laugh I will snipe your romp, what is PE when we are speaking of hybs? Is it Provoke Enemy?

Nah, just the same level of PPU as an PE.
Holy Lightning + Basic Shelter, maybe even "all" the way to blessed deflector.

PE defence imho
Shelter + blessed def tl 3 heal capped and dmg booster ofcourse for simple reasons :p
don't play a hyb myself pure apu ^^
I'm 82/66 with the glveo and i level fine.
Just level with higher rank people.... or take the glvoe off... jeez
ppu should be removed - problem solved :p
Oh.. hehe now the HL PE makes sense. Yeah I'll agree with the Xylaz above, we should remove ppus all together in the traditional sense, and nerf te MST requs a bit, remove few of the high end ppu spells, and we have a good all around monk, he can still spesialize to healing buffing and little fight OR he can specialize to fighting with small heals and buffs. There is no limit with Tank M-C/H-C like there is to R-C/P-C and APU/PPU. And I have to say some tanks have pretty good setups with this in mind.
My advise: Don't use the glove while leveling, save it for fights.
I had to lom my PPU's PPW so my rank dropped down to 76 to get some exp from teams after getting my DS, but with the glove on it shot up to 86 again so i only get exp from the high level apu/hybrid/spies.

it is a bit odd, my apu gets 576% dmg on a holy lightning (3 slot) and his rank is only 46/57 which means i dont look scary but i sure do gain xp =P doesnt even go up with a 3 slot fire apoc either :confused:
the ppu in our clan has this same problem, my advice, remove PA, use normal glove and zone a few times until the rank drops, maybe pop a +ppu imp and try zoning a few times.

Thats funny, If I recall before kami's were killed , my Hybrid, would kill Wb's and get told to pick on someone your own size ... Doys cash was pretty bad to, only couple hundred NC

Why should ppu's have to find people of similar rank? Shouldn't we be encouraging ppu's to help everyone? Shouldn't ppu's be rewarded for helping low, mid, and high level players? Now sure, the exp should be scaled so you get the best exp in a team with similarly ranked runners.. but you should still get some exp in other teams.
Which situation is favorable:
1) Elitist PPU only hunts with runners of specific class with specific rank, is rewarded. Friendly PPU that help everyone is punished by not gaining any exp/cash.
2) Elitist PPU is rewarded. Friendly PPU is rewarded (though not aswell as Elitist).
Ideally there would be a third option with all PPU's being rewarded equaly for doing their job as a ppu, but that would be really tough to do.

:edit2: my old 69/36 rank meant i could level with almost capped monks and share XP. of course my low psi level meant a little XP goes a long way...
70/xx is good for leveling, cave teams :D
my ppu 86/66 with glove can lvl off my hybrid 113/63 thats almost 2 ranks at 70/** i was still getting xp off capped tanks

no no no no... dont town down PPUs ranks, just make the way ppus get XP in the team diferent. like insted of having to be within 10 combat ranks why not make it 25 for the ppu ( by combat ranks i meen the ##/ one ).
at the moment you can gain xp off anyone within 20 ranks of you if i remember correctly; 5 more isnt going to make much difference...

If you think there is something wrong with his rank, check this out. My hybrid using HL has the l33t rank of 42/58 <<<<. :D
The weird thing is, if I use my 5 slot TL69 multi bolt, I suddenly get 75/58... weird ass game.
178 will cap a HL when your capped. 177 is still fine i think you only lose like 4-6% on hl with that one point. as you level keep dumping points in ppw. i have a 434 pool with my epic glove.

use a 5slot holy energy barrel, you will get higher than 75.
am lomming to ppu anyway eventually, am sure that'll bump my rank up :lol:
