How many points do I need to spec into ATL and AGL to cap my runspeed?

Can anyone answer this for me?

It was stated ages ago that 70/70 is the runspeed cap, with any variations thereof working (E.G. 110/30 or 30/110 would work too).

But some people spec over this and do seem to go faster. Also, speccing over this allows you to compensate for the slowdown certain weapons have.

70/70 is a good place to start, then you can go higher, some say 125/125 is the fastest speed you can get. 100/100 is very fast, depends on your class and pvp skill as to what you can spec really. Doesnt make any difference when you get parashocked tho

Plenty of threads on runspeed already mate, maybe try search runpseed, ive seen thread go into 10 pages on this topic

70/70 is the soft cap. over this gains runspeed slower.

also i think 110/30 wouldnt work as well as 70/70, because the 110 is over the softcap, thus the 40 points over 70 arent worth as much runspeed as the first 70.

When I was Kami I had 40 atl and 123 agl, but I was easiy as fast as a 80/80 runner, if not faster.

i dunno... you never seemed that fast when we fought, maybe thats an NF fuckup though

NF is a pile of poo poo.

I definitly feel slower anyway. Not that I was very fast to begin with, or could aim, or setup a char or hit anyone. Worst dueler ever to disgrace the NF decks.

I was kami'd and had 80 ath 107 agl
I noticed a difference going down to 92 agl, but didn't notice an increase when going up to 125 agl...

I wouldn't recommend going past 70 or 75 ath and 95 agl unless you really need the speed or have a bunch of points with nothing else to put them in...

IE a tank that has his TC and has loads of dex points left :)

tbh i have 70/70 as an absolute minumum (well sometimes i change it for PE setups)

my melee tank has something like 120+ ish agl and 100 ish atl and he runs really fast, I've chased guys on bikes across about a quarter of a sector and been able to at least trail them, but if you aren't worrying about literally running across entire sectors then it is not as big of a deal to get massive run speed. I personally have noticed difference in run speed when pusshing past 100/100 but it really is like the time it takes to run from MB to regeants. as a spy/pe getting to like 80/80 maybe a touch more has been adaquate for me in the past in my pvp and pvm experience.

depends entirely on play style and its a trade off IMO.

i aim much better at slow speed, but im a much easier target.

yeah, thats what I was trying to say, my characters have a range of 80/80 to 132/117, depends on how you play, maybe I didnt say that right.

nah you seemes to say high ath/agl was cool for long distance running, but pointless in pvp. so i said its all down to what your most comfortable with.

:) yay we agree though :)

70/70 was a community guess and some said 75/75 was both these speeds are fast yes. But not cap the difference from 80 Agil and 100 agil is large you only notice it when you pvp and find people telling you your fast and hard to hit cos on your screen you can't tell it looks the same

the camera (3rd person) is only loosely behind you. you dont see yourself dodge so much because the camera moves less :)
