Virus help!

I know i have a virus but Norton doesnt detect anythign when i do scans, whenever i click internet explorere everything goes real slow and i goto turn off my comp and turn back on to get it working, AIM instant messager works but internet explorer like crashes my comp. Anyone know how i can fix!
