in game options broken?

don't know if it's just me. Yet using dx9, the in game options fail to work.

can't turn the sky off, tried relogging and so forth. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Consider yourself lucky, I don't even get DirectX 9 as an option. But I think perhaps it's because there's a function my card need that it doesn't have to get it working. (and yes, I have DX 9.0c installed)

I'm not an idiot, that's been tried numerous times. This issue still exists
