Okay - so I'ma need a graphics tablet - unfortunately - seeing as I rarely - If EVER buy computer hardware and peripherals - I have no idea where to get it from. I've been to Scam already and they didn't have what I needed- I need a wacom tablet - or even better a choice of wacoms. anyone know of any other computer hardware sites apart from Scam that I could try.

Yes. I know I spelt Scan as Scam. What's your point?

or even better a choice of wacoms
I shall kill you every time you say that, there is no BETTER than wacom.
I have used my Wacom Intuos2 a3 for few years not, and I'm going to upgrade to Wacom Intuos3 a4 (the a3 is bit too big Imo) and I have tried the competition, not a chance you get better nor near quality from them.

I use it for photoshopping, painter, alias sketchbook, and it has full support for all of these programs, something the competitions has not. And it works great in 3d studio max, softimage xsi and maya.

Go for wacom.

My buddy next door at Uni had a Wacom - hence Why I wanted to try a few to see which I liked, I was reckoning on using it in Painter 7 and Photoshop, But thinking about it, it would come in extremely useful for max also.

atleast a post with sense from spermy :)

yust wanted to say that there is only one way to go: the wacomway !

wacom is the win tbh

i went to fotokina in köln a few weeks ago: ffcourse i went to the wacom-boot (next to the adobe-boot) to check out there latest tablets ... daamn incredible ! gigantic tablets with nice nice nice extra gimmics, ya can adyust everything at the side of the tablet etc (intuos3 by wacom) ffcourse not counting the regular way of adyusting true youre softwareinterface with the pen ... extremely nice

also there new screens are 2 cool: your working on youre wacomscreen like with every regular screen except when ya wonna adyust sumthing with youre pen ya yust put youre screen down and start editing with youre pen on the screen: WICKED ! -> and no its no tablet, its a screen like aregular tftmonitor (pl-700 by wacom)

ok its a bit more expensive, but when ya want serieus results ya gotta buy a wacom :)
