The decisions being made that affect the gameplay in Neocron are obviously made by people who don't play the game like we do.
Please hire someone to play your game like we play it.
That would be the best thing you could do as far as getting to know your game and improving it 10 fold.

i have played with 1 KK staff member that i know of, and i know mods play.
i agree there have been alot of bad decisions though

one while he/she was on the kk staff, one before he/she was on the staff
I heard that most KK staff & volunteers avoid clans cos of the bias aspect. No idea if that's true, but it might go some way toward explaining why they generally appear to be completely out of touch.
Either that or they all play tank + PPU :p
Who do you think's doing all the allied PKing? ;)

well i only know 2 members of KK staff.
i know for a fact one was clanned, i know what char name / clan name / server name, however i wont make it public before anyone asks.
the other one i dunno.
if KK staff stay in clans after joining the KK team? i dunno that either

carb... since your here feel like posting on some of the threads about actual ingame problems.
i love a company that is "matey" with its customers... but that only works if they talk to them properly too...
may i suggest the drone thread where people are talking about deleting their chars or lomming their chars that they have had since NC1 launch?
alot of people are pissed off at the way this game is going, and even if you cant change that right now you can at least talk to the player base and try to reasure them, comprimise on some things (like droners that have been bugged for years)

MJS replied to me a couple of times. He even said useful stuff. It was about a year ago though so maybe it's almost time for him to post again.
Usually official replies to my posts involve words like "don't" "again" and "bannable" :D

Well Martin has his LE in (or so he said) so it's not him.
Didn't you have a droner Nid? - If it's you it can't be on him.
I reckon it's Snowcrash.
If you don't think it's in KK's and 10T's best interests to sort C2P out then you're living in cloud cuckoo land. You can bet that C2P are under siege right now.

if KK think they cn get away with the droner bugs stopping an entire class from working and saying its "low priority" they are living in cloud cuckoo land.

No need, under 15s are too used to being shouted at and told what to do. They still have a modicum of deceny and good ol fashioned fear in em. 15 year olds have crossed the threshold into adolesence...or as I like to call it "the 4 years spent pissing off everyone they come into contact with." Some people never grow out of this phase, and end up becoming disillusioned 25 year olds who spend their sunday evenings ranting on game forums...oh...bugger.

do you know / can you find out what is?
IMO all that should be above it is c2p. epic bugs suck, but dont ruin a whole class. if lvl 2 / 3 backbones are missing that will make leveling chars harder, but leveling a droner is impossible. the defences of pro city being too weak (raided constantly) needs improvement, but the pro city can do fine outside the fighting areas, droners cant.
this is a class that has always been bugged, now completely useless. there shouldnt be much higher than that.
i would put drone bugs up there with the mem problems. again mem leaks will eventually cause crash / lockup / slowdown, but the "free mem" think in the fps display at least gives a warning... droners are useless 100% of the time
I can't comment on what's above it in the priority list as I'm not involved in that area. BTW, since when was droning a class?

Since KK broke out the cookie cutter. Rifle spy and Droner spy are as distinctly different as APU and Tank.

droner is a class in the same way a PPU is a class.
its not a "race" class... but its a character class.

i remember MJS spouting out he had a tank, which makes sense, but one thing i want to know is who's idea was it to make monks the one class for pvp in a pvp game?

as much as i hate specialisation, its forced if you wanna do well.
if you dont specialise your fucked (and if you do specialise in certain weapo skills... your fucked)

Wouldn't a simple solution be to lower cap needs (points, not levels) on all weapons by like 40%?
Would mean we'd have kinda many points to put into other stuff
meaning 'specialization' wouldn't exist..
"Should I use droning AND pistol... or tradeskilling.. or maybe rifles and pistol..."
That doesn't go for PSI tho.. "Should I be hybrid, or hybrid.." :p

riggers are droners aren't they? I remember when droning did not suck, like when nc1 started. in fact they were overpowered and everyone wanted em nerfed/ balanced whatever.
seems like droners have been nerfed/bugged much in the same way as the american buffalo has.
glad i didnt get my droner up too high before i quit the first time. at least i know which character not to touch for awhile. maybe ill lom him to cstr to compliment the researcher i made.
