Got to agree with that - Fable's a great game. Although the story's kinda short (finished it in under 13 hours, getting the 'treasure', the Fist Fighter's Trophy and the Harbinger sword) it's still a lot of fun to play.

You mean the treasure clues? I didn't find any map pieces...unless I missed them

Anyway, the "treasure" is between a barn wall and some bales of hay in Orchard Farm. Not much of a treasure. In fact its useless. :wtf:

There's a difficulty setting? Wondered why my good character can do 784 damage with a Solus Greatsword... :wtf: :D

lol, I didnt die either. In fact, the people I was protecting got hurt more.

/edit my 100th post :D

A bit of a shame that it wasn't as was originally hoped (it was supposed to be so you could "create your own RPG" O_o). Still, it's a bloody good game to play :D

Just finished escorting those traders through Darkwood, now doing the Hobbe Cave quest (which, BTW, is bloody annoying with just a Steel Katana  )

BTW hi again all

I'm upto the hobbe cave quest as well. All i got is a steel katana (flame augmented), lightning, fireball and force push...and not that many will potions. With this character (my 2nd), I'm trying to use swords as little as possible.

Just a curiosity question...

Would you consider Fable to be worth buying an XBox for or not?

For Fable alone, maybe not.

For Fable, KOTOR, Project Gotham Racing 2, Halo, and the lowest price tag yes :D

...and halo 2 (nov. 11th) :D

Just Fable! Dangit. :p

I either already have the other games on PC, or I couldn't care less. My primary interests lay with RPGs, I don't play racing games, and I rarely play FPS games. And I have KOTOR for my PC as it is.

So, just Fable, no "But if you get an XBox you can get this too.", just Fable.

Fable is too small, took me 8 hours first try to play it through and i made 4 extra missions in this time also ^^

To answer the guys question yes buy it. It is indeed a good game.
2nd time around there appears to be extra quests to undertake that I never saw/notice the first time around. Gonna go Sword/magic this time. However it seems to be harder to get evil karma than it is to get good as everytime you kill a bandit you get good karma......

My 1st char was mainly a sword-user but used a bit of everything.
My 2nd char is all magic. I'm upto the arena so far.

I killed the occasional roaming trader (+15 evil karma) to make up for the good karma i got. And if you kill the NPC who leads you into an ambush @ witchwood (just before the white balverine quest), you get +62 evil karma.

Also, I found out how to clone items (you can only do it in quest regions :( ), so I used the trick to get 15 silver keys and 14 ages of the will potions (gives 100 will exp * your current combat multiplier).
