View Full Version : Character transfer: Anyone else got this problem?
I've reported this to helpdesk but in the meantime I just wondered if it was just me or was everyone effected by this problem.
Regardless of what gender/profession of character I try and transfer I only get offered the Male Psi Monk heads and the Psi Monk hairstyles
Weird huh!

Nope happened to me and at least one more guy to.
Still waiting for a little more than "we're looking into it" from KK...

Well here we are 4 months later, the problem remains, support are ignoring my emails and last but not least the transfer ability is about to get the axe
Are we having fun yet?
When was your last email? What was your ticket number and what did you write? Support don't ignore emails unless the support relationship is over (i.e. the problem is resolved or otherwise closed).

i transfered a character to mars last night
monk model but with 15 str 1 psi and a street model nade launcher,
i also had 56 free points in psio_O
so i deleted it and made a spy.
you would not belive how friendly and helpfull the people can be on that server.

I emailed support on Jan 3rd teling them it wasnt fixed (no reply)
Sent another email on Jan 22 chasing (no reply)
Have checked the transfer tool this morning for my characters and the problem is still there

Not sure why I'm bothering to post this but here goes
As per Danaes forum post I emailed account@ last Wednesday, Danae herself replied on Thursday telling me this address wasnt appropriate for my problem and to email support again quoting my original ticket number.
So I immediately sent support an email (on Thurs) and here we are now Sunday night and I still havent had a reply from them since the dated I listed earlier
I cant find any other words to describe this 'service' other than 'piss poor'. I suspect the 'delay' (or lack of any action entirely) is because my account is currently inactive, however 'cause and effect' why would I continue to pay for an account that I can only play one of my characters on! (bear in mind support had the best part of a month to fix this problem while my account was active!)

I think you'll find the first 8 digits are the date :-)

id put money on the 1st 3 groups being date, the others tickets number

if they are then why is the date either the 7th of the 10th 2004 or the 10th of the 7th 2004 lol
because 08-10-04, 14:10 was the date/time the post was made ^^

Sometimes they dont reply after their first response, but they are always working on fixing your problem. Ive had an amazing amount of problems and have yet to have kk ignore me. In my opinion, they have good customer support.

I'm encouraged to hear it was ok for you. But if if KK have this amount of trouble fixing the transfer tool I'd dread to think what would happen if I transfered my 3 chars and they _werent_ ok once I got in game
Now if support want to tell me this _and_ take responsibility if it doesnt work (because I'll have purchased another month just to test their theory) then thats different but unfortunately I just dont have enough faith in them [anymore] to take that kind of risk without some kind of communication from them (and anything would be better than the current communication, i.e. non, I'm getting).

umm.. try spelling account correctly... then you may get a reply ;)
