aye, though your line will have to be tested to ensure it can really take the 2MB, iirc the limit moved from 4KM upto 6KM, though on the outskirts of that limit you may be unable to get full fat DSL, I'm lucky, I'm 5 mins walk from my exchange

lol, yeah i got 512 with NTheLL world, and they just said there incresing all speeds,for free, so ima get a 1 meg, should be sweet

freeserve increased theirs from 512 to 1MB for free too, but dont you have usage caps on NTHell? When you hit 1MB thats when the fan gets covered in excrement, I'm currently about 25GB this month, which is nice :o

its worth checking out really, I pay £29.99 per month for 1MB which is uncapped, or I could pay £14.99 per month for 1MB and a 1GB limit, go over that limit and they start charging me an arm and a leg per MB (we are talking into the £100's for the crap I download)

well my mum gets the cable TV and phones in a package with the net, and i only pay for the net, which is a mock imo :p

i think its like 60 quid overall....for talk unlimited sorta thing....and some TV channels i guess...

Im on BT ADSL 512Kbs, have been for a year now, its just about fast enough. 1 meg and 2 meg are available, but I don't have the money :(. Its £27.99 I think, its uncapped.

havent tried BT for there net, but atm im with Blueyonder used to be a 1meg
line uncapped for £40 a month but then they up it to 1.5meg for free :D
was thinking of getting the 3meg, but dunno if i would need that or not.

What speed do you get off of Microsoft? im on cable (10Mbit) i think, and get upto 800-900KB/s... THAT is when it all hits the fan, not at 1Mbit :P
Just to make you jeleous, i hit 146gig down last month. :)

In some of the main cities in Sweden you can get 10mbit/10mbit for aprox. £30/month.

I live in Denmark though so I'm only on 2mbit..
