Hi, I want a player to play my tunes. Which is the best one ? It needs to be able to do playlists and not be complicated >.<

I dont like Winamp btw.

look for one called STP... it runs purely in the task bar and uses key binds to control it, plus it works very well when games are running.

Winamp 2.5 from www.oldversion.com

It opens the second you click the shortcut. No bullshit fancy crap that makes the latest versions slow.

Winamp 2 for Windows, XMMS for Linux

I've tried a number of other solutions on Windows, but nothing just works like Winamp 2 does. It's playlist system is simple (and as a double plus, compatible with XMMS) and it's fast.

foobar is a really good program, easy to use and doesnt hog system resources ;)

Windows Media Player :D Its the only thing I use, cept in Linux then its XMMS, but I prefer Windows Media Player :D

sure it costs money, but it does everything you'll need to do with your music, it's laid out well, it's aesthetically pleasing, it runs well...

ive been trying winamp, however it ties itself into all media, i hate the display for video on it. I'd like to use it for music nothing else, then i think i could deal with it, any tips ?
