Is there any reason it's impossible to buy/sell 150 tools anywhere? I've tried every Crytons in neocron, and my faction sellers.
Is this another example of inspired design by KK, or a mistake? Given that the 'drop stuff out of your trade window' feature is still in the game I'm going to vote for piss poor design decision myself.
Try the Fallen Angels traders, the ones in DoY sell the tl150 tools so I guess they must buy them as well. Perhaps when TH is kitted out city people will be able to.

Like I said when TH is sorted out then maybe you will be able to there. Until then I suggest you find an anti-city guy to do it for you.

It would make no sense, given that you can take MC5's and rares worth millions. So that's probably the reason.

Thats dumb if it is the case...
slots to transfer items were scarce and if you wanted to 'waste' all your QB slots on that, you should atleast get some cash for it imo.

I saw some guy lastnight buying destol forte (however you spell it) for 200k for 3 of them...
Someone has cash and i wonder how they got that much so fast...

As an APU or tank you can make millions in a few hours just by farming certain areas. It's much harder as a tradeskiller, specially without the tools you need :rolleyes:

I love how they never tell you shit...
you can being a couple tools if you want but they will be no use...
I did bring a couple xtra incase my tradeskille got ganked and lost his but now i want to sell it cause i found out TH is a safezone. I could have brought mc5 parts, marine, psi core, rare sloted weapon, etc...
so because of a decision that they made but never told us, i should just throw it on the floor and watch as it dissapeares?
this is bullshit....
I am so tired of game mechanics being changed and never notified, i am really starting to be pushed off of NC and i have put up with a lot of shit.

I brought over 40 TL 150 tools since i didnt play uranus got a barter to sell them at yo's for me after his 700k+ tip I eneded up with 6 mill.I'm sure it would have been more if there was a crytons around.

I have been to the Teen Angels shop in DoY about an hour ago (which is Neocron 2 Beyond the Dome of York Retail...) and they sold them there. Tech Haven is yet to be completed so I don't know about there.
I tried TH and couldn't find a vendor that sold TL150 tools. I also tried a bunch of NC city tool vendors and Faction supply managers. No luck with any of them.

Someone has cash and i wonder how they got that much so fast...The faction changer on Saturn GAVE 300k per change, apparently. It was a trivial matter for unused Saturn slots to be bumped up with money and turned into mules for tools. I saw at least one person who said they made 5 mil or so by selling forty tools.
without a barter, the allbuyer npc's buy 150cst for aprox 80k per depending on int level. with a barter thats more, so 40 150 tools with a barter is about 4mil give or take i would assume.

for 40 tools using a tl 130 barter only ??/40+ not sure what his int was it was 167k+ a tool which came out to be 6.7mill and some change.

You can buy the tools at the FSM.
You can buy tools at your secondary FSM, they sell tools, parts, and chems. You can also buy tools at Fa vendors.
You can sell tools at Yo's. With 150 barter I get 175k return on a const150 tool. So 40 tools would be 7mil. I've helped lots of people sell their tools, even if you didn't load up mules with them, it's nice to get a little boost from selling one or two.
If I had known about the 300k from the faction change npc, I would have loaded up 8 chars with tools, oh well : (
Dunno if anyone has posted this. You can sell the TL150 tools to your faction service manager, as long as you have atleast 50 symp =P
