What faction are you? Is your 'home' faction symp dropping or that of an enemies/ally/neutral?

My guess is that since they tied all the faction symps together it's the negative symps with hostile factions ticking up that causes your symp with your own faction to drop. I've played for a couple of minutes and my symp is now 49.
