SO BACK UP THE DATABASE MORE THAN ONCE A MONTH!

Yeah they do its a daily backup but the hardware used to create those backups had a failure and was making corrupt files that appeared to be valid. Because they appeared to be real backup files the backup server would report that and back them up it was not untill the hardware went tits up. That KK realised to there horror what had been happening to those backups there was nothing humanly possible for them to do it just could not be helped. Like they said the backups appeared valid when checked so there was no way they would have known till the tryed to apply those backups shame but shit happens get over it
