Very good imho, The Outsiders and Electron Blue are my two favourites atm :D

Looking forward to seeing them live at Hyde Park and Hammersmith Apollo (London) :) should be good.

I'm a big fan of REM's music. Personally, I think they went off the rails a little after Automatic For The People, with Adventures In Hi-Fi being a real low point artistically.

This latest offering has received some decent reviews here in the UK, and a friend whose taste is pretty good has told me their first release from this album is very good. On the basis of this, I will most likely make the purchase.

Prsonal favourite of mine is Everybody Hurts, which Radio One played after the minute's silence in rememberance for the victims of 9/11. Made me cry and I'm not afrid to admit that.
