View Full Version : [ENG/Ger] Importent Question for ALL Clans
For most of you that are on saturn and in the fighting scene know me and my clan pritty good. We fight just about anyone that wants to fight, allied or not.
Now with Neocron 2 and all it's faction changes I'm asking you and wondering how many clans that will now be living in one big city put aside their differences against each-other and live together and possibly "Role-Play", City vs Anti-City.
My clan will be staying Crahn and as of right now we fight every faction. Now I have just asked the clan members over ventrilo if they would put aside their difference with the soon to be allied factions to try and restore some Role-Play in this game. They agree that they will put aside there differences and try to do a City vs Anti-City.
Now I'm asking you and not just the people on saturn, becuase I know for sure this is probably going on in other servers as well, if EVERYONE will put aside the differences that you have against each other and try to restore the games Role-Play.

Jetzt I'm, das Sie und nicht gerade die Leute auf Saturn fragt, becuase, das ich für sicheres dieses weiß, geht vermutlich an in andere Bediener außerdem, wenn EVERYONE beiseite die Unterschiede setzt, die Sie gegeneinander haben und versuchen, um das Spiele Rolle-Spiel wieder herzustellen.

is gona RP NC vs DoY and fight whoever attacks us first.

I hate fighting allies and am tired of being drug into fights with them. But I will almost always follow my clan's lead. Hopefully we can all get along, if not, then I hope they fix clan wars
i doubt people will allow it to work, but i guess skulls will just act like mercs...
tho like i said alot of people wont act like were in it for the money and just KoS us the second we fight them
I was wondering when this would be brought up. I for one will not carry over any sort of grudges. I really want to role play the whole F-6 thing. So basically I dont care for nor want to fight my faction allies. Hopefully Im not the only one that feels this way. I geuss we will find out once DOY hits, huh System?
Oh yea and I will be staying Crahn all the way brother!

Basically the way we are going to play it is, if we see bullets coming in our direction then we shoot back in the same direction, regardless who they are.
We try to keep the role-play.
But as seen before on Saturn it is not always the case with all other runners.
So what is so different about DOY.
The same people that started ally wars will still be there. The only difference is that they may have different names and new tricks.
I hope it will work. I guess we will see !!!

I will probably try to keep things RP.
Will shoot TGs (should be plenty of them) and try to keep it seperate from the rest of the DoY factions. Dunno how people will take it though.
My real hope is that CM isn't as fractured as it is currently on Uranus, I really hope some cirtain clans move to one of the german servers and stay there.
I am also concerned that my english speaking counterparts in CM will do as they currently do on saturn and engage in open OP warfare in order to gain territory, rather than keeping it to MB and the surrounding area, but it's up to them, I won't tell them what to do.
I am just worried that it could lead to CM being put on every single clan's KoS list. Ah well, no FCLs for them :p.

Well I am moving all my chars to Mercs (in case I stay) and I'm lovely :p
I'm hoping that Mercs will be half-decent because I've been ProtoPharm FCA on Uranus and nobody gave a monkeys about the faction and just did their own thing (ganking allies etc) and I've had enough of it.

VENOM will choose a couple of allies...
while everyone else wont be KOS that doesnt mean we wont attack, just that we wont always attack :)

How about you actually play within the rules of the game???
Or are people going to ruin NC2 like they did NC1 by randomly ganking everyone regardless of the actual structure of the game??

the "rules"? im sure if we break rules we will be disiplined (massive spelling error?)
and no we wont randomly kill allies... however we will not be bound to the F6 screen. if an ally is talking shit, or stealing loot, etc we wont just sit there and take it.
if we have a reason, we will kill allies
duno what jest is on about, if i want to or dont like em im gona kill em no matter what

Ultimately in the middle of a war neither DoY or NC would tolerate their people killing each other and that should be in the game. The game isn't CS there is a plot, if you don't want a game with a plot then why play it?
As for people talking shit......that's just something most people ignore because it doesn't matter.

im willing to play a game with a plot. i was well up for going anarchy breed and im sure the rest of VENOM would have come.
however when there are asses who piss you off thinkin you wont do anything back, thinkin that you are bound to F6, they have to learn :p

We know (one hell of alot of) people want to play like that but it isn't written in the game. It should be, otherwise it gives people behaving like that an advantage over people rping within the current game structure (i.e. they get the first shot over people who don't gank their allies).

come on... its not too complicated to treat VENOM like an enemy...
some people dont fire back unless fired upon, just remember to be on your guard around VENOM like you would around an enemy

Yeah but you aren't if I kill you a get a FS/SL hit. That's playing outside the structure of the game. When this starts to happen Neocron gets turned from a mmorpg into a very bad FPS in a big world.

well as for FF we gonna follow the storyline meaning no pking allied (unless they attack us first of course)
so im hoping it will actually be the NC vs Doy ,not im to lazy to go to the city so ill just kill this green guy near me

All members of Dark on Pluto will be bound to this agreement, you can be sure of that.
We don't want to fight green people on our own turf, where the green people we're fighting not only live with us, but have access to specific faction items we might need as well.
I will talk to all clan members about this, because we want to RP as well. Anyone violating this rule in our clan without a GOOD reason will be kicked without notice - I suggest all you people who are agreeing to this do the same thing if the problem occurs.

well i quit for 3 months a while back and as such dont have much of a kos list atm as when i did return i decided not to carry on with my old kos list. it jus didnt seem right. There are one or two people who i have pissed me off in game of late (mainly talkin smack on ooc and refusing to settle it man to man) but nothin major. tbh i like it like this, i dont get as wound up as i used to but having said that im not gonna roll over and play dead jus coz some dude is green to me. if someone pisses me off regardless of faction/city and i deem it a serious enough offence then yeah i will gank em. Simple.
Do unto others as you wish done to you (or something like that, im not exactly biblically versed).

It sounds like the international server on NC2 will just be one big gankfest with the usual suspects running around in groups of 5+ capped chars, ganking everyone they meet for no reason whatsoever other that "we can".
I really think that PvP is too imbalanced to support NC2 as a MMOFPS which is what it is becoming. I'm getting to the point where I figure I will keep playing FPS's online (for free) for my bloodlust fix and go find another MMORPG to play that actually has rp elements.
Still not sure whether to throw away all of the hours in NC though...........:confused:

this is a PvP orieted game. 99% of combat in this game is fps (the 1% being drone which im not sure about :p)
personally i like NC as a PvP game. its not just like CS or something where you all walk around shooting things, you need the skill to do a good setup, you need to match armour / imps to that setup, you need skill at PvPing, and for op wars etc you need teamwork.

Trust me I'm still going to beat the living hell out of someone if it is called for. I'll try my damnest not to which is gonna be hard as hell, but we will see. well we will be "f6" allied then :)
tbh as long as the NC - DoY numbers are even i see the majority of fighting being ok. but if certain people / clans are in DoY i will have no problem losing SL over them
Well in 7 days from today I will be moving to the dorms at college and I have to order the internet myself. I don't know how long this this will take but I know for sure I will not be here at the start of Neocron 2. Sucks but Real-life shit comes first. I hope the best of luck between our two clans. The 2 leaders, myself and Bronx, are moving at the same time and both leaders wont be around. So who knows what will happen. :-\ But cya when I get back

I really don't see any point in killing allies/same faction, even if they gave you 'shit', it will just inflame the problem untill a situation arises where things just way too nasty, all over an inflated sense of pride.
I won't say that you should not be able to do it, but the repercussions need to affect the lives of the culprits in a more real and extensive way.
Pimp will be doing the same as they did in NC1, trying to fight along faction lines, but somehow always end up fighting neutrals. Especialy since the majority of clans from dif servers are all DOY clans now. Neocron won't have enough for us all to fight, we're gonna be going after each other.
Adult Inc. (tsu) will restrict anyones access to porn if they dare mess with us :D
My guidelines:
Crahn members, only attack if they attack me/clan (they are traitorous biatches).
Allied, only attack if they attack me or Crahn members.
Neutral monks, if they piss me off will be attacked, other neutrals only if they attack.
Enemy... all KoS, but especially monks.

Neocron won't have enough for us all to fight, we're gonna be going after each other.
I think that the situation will stabilise pretty quickly between the two cities after the initial imbalance.

I never hold grudges I will be putting differences aside however if theres arseholes ganking allies and have bad soulight I'ma gonna pk them ;)
After reading the CM forum , it seems we (Phoenix Mercs) are aiming to drop our differences and start a clean slate. We're just gonna wait and see who attacks us from the beginning and shove them on the KOS list, but at the beginning of NC2, we wont be attacking anyone (cept TG). It's still under discussion on the forum bu i reckon it will end up this way .. :rolleyes:
