Construction slots

I took a couple months off a while back, but have now been back for about 3 weeks...

Before when i built weapons, i got good slots, now i get shit slots on my weapons. Lastnight i gave someone a 2 slot Lib and he asked if it was built before or after patched 199-200. He then said they changed something during those patches that has nerfed slots.
Is that true?

I have only built a few things since being back, but all of them were shit on the slot count :(

I've had pretty good luck with rares lately, but a batch of holy heals and holy shelters came out crappy.

For example, just the other day, I built 9 rares, one right after the other, and here's the results:
2x 1 slot ROLH
2x 5 slot ROLH
1x 5 slot Judge
1x 2 slot Mal
2x 0 slot Moonie
1x 4 slot Moonie


Yes, that's right - 3 came out with 5 slots.
A few weeks back, I built 4 libs in a batch, and 2 came out with 5 slots each.

Haven't built any rares in awhile but out of 50 Holy Shelters I got 1 5 slotter rest 3 and under.
Out of 50 Holy Heals I got 2 5 slotters and 1 4 slotter.
+ some 4 slot Holy Defs and 3 slot para beams.....haven't seen any evidence of a nerf.

I never had much luck with slots when I had a CST, gave up in the end as I was sick of handing customers 0 slot rares. It's a cruel business.

Built ONE Holy Heal. Just to make a better than store bought variety for a friend. Just one bp, parts, no buffs, nothing uber about my CST skill....... five slots. Course he got ganked, hacked and lost it within two days but while it lasted it was oh so good.

I was building fairly good rares, then after the patch slots became less.

Patch came just before a big build too.

I have decent luck with slots, but not like some of you!!!

For those who slot so well... what Skill do you construct at? and are you capped? Do you use any buffs, glove?

or is it that you are just lucky basterds?

I was just curious if what that guy told me was true about the decrease. It seems as though some are still getting good slots so may be he was just in a bad run of luck.

Slots have always been random as hell, some times you are lucky and sometimes your not.

Built 50 Holy Heals last week getting 2 5 slotters and 1 4.........this week 200+ Holy Heal Sanctums 1 3 slotter 12 2 slotters 65 1 slotters....bleh and all I want is 1 fucking 4 slotter :lol:

I forget what dev told me in closed beta, but he was nerfing tanks abilitys to cst!!! (WHOIRE!!z0r!!) witch means strength has little to no effect on slots now. Not sure if that was stuck in last patch or not - I have a bad memory.
