Hello, I just got out of hospital today (for those that noticed I was gone) was a long long long 19 days of sexy nurses (one plays SW:G so we got to gossip a lot).
Things didnt go smooth this time either, for starters, I went in on the thursday, took some nice valium that night, next day took premeds had a shower, went back to sleep woke up having had the surgery not rememberin undressing or getting there :lol:
Then next day my stomach got bloated and huge and really hard, turned out the anesthetic had given me a paralyzed illea (or however its spelt) which meant my stomach had basically fell asleep and I was throwing up a lot, so they stuck an NG (Nasal/Gastric) tube down my nose into my stomach so they could drain my stomach out of my nose (not pleasant) and I was nill by mouth for a week, no food nor drink :(
My epidural (pain killer) came undone so had no morphine from day 2 instead of day 6, the lung didnt repair properly and stuff, was supposed to be home saturday, but just as they were to remove the tube they said "coff" so I did and then a bubble so they wouldnt let me home.
I'm now home, still with a tube in my chest, coming out into a "flutter bag" which collects the air and gung from my lung, anyone was pictures? Its really sick :lol:
Anyhow, I'm here, alive and have 108 spam emails to read :rolleyes:

I required a.....
Left thorascopy and stapling of apical bulae and abrasion pleurodesis and maybe a left thoradotomy or something. In English...
Cause my lungs collapsed, a few times, they had to be repaired, so the sugeon went in with a telescope (was a chance he would have to cut my chest right open, but he didnt need to, so less scarin) went to the bulae (air bubbles) and stapled them down (or something) then scraped away at my chest (inside) to make it inflamed so my lungs would stick to the chest.
Theory is, the bubbles are stapled so cant cause a collapse and if they do puncture again, they cant go down cause they are "stuck" to my chest.
Operation carries a 95% chance of total sucess, and a 1% chance of mortality, bleeding, infection, but gives me cool scars.
