RAWR!

So - I fired up flash to make a few toons today, I got wankers block..

So I took the easy way out and decided to do NeoMation! - A few short episodes in the world of Neocron! - Comedy.

Just trying to collect a few peeps to gimme a hand,

Need someone to write the scripts - In the style of jack the tank, If chumby's willing

Some peoples to voice

Some peoples to help meh animate.

Some peoples to Do music for teh 'mation.

Only post here with ideas and offers plz ^_^

Ever seen married with children? The soundclip played at the end of the title screen - sounds like a jail cell slamming? I want to use that when The stamp is placed on top... Anyone know a good soundclip to use?

Also - the style - Thinking south park-esque at the moment.

Cheers - Got the first episode/strip down now.

Called "spirit mods" - Bear with me...

So we have this tank, and the obligatory PPu

and we have a spy -

PPU is buffing the tank to hell,

Spy whacks out his SH with spirit mod...

Spy - "Eat spirit Monk Boy!"

SH dissapears with a poof - NERF! is stamped over the top of the poof.

PPu Is buffing the tank to hell, Tank whacks out a C/S - Grins.

Spy - "Shit"...

Right - I think we have all the voice talent we need - Got some RL mates to cover the rest of the voices if we need it.

What I need most is an actionscripter - Because macromedia scripting is the devil. :mad:

Cheers - doing concept sketches at the mo - Tank PA sucks to draw! I'll post a Scan of my inks when I can - prolly tommorrow morning...

Anyone else who wants to make sketches after that knows what kinda style it's gonna be in. Feel free to whack some scripts or ideas for episodes/strips on this thread - COMEDY is the word, Not a KK slate - Humour is okay - take my Spirit Nerf idea as an example.

Any suggestions will possibly be used, so if you object to that - don't post. K? :)

EDIT - Definitely doing a comic and a flash series now. Flash series is called NeoMation, and the comic is called NeoFragged.

It's probably going to be the style I'm going for.

PLEASE! :lol: NO MORE VOICE TALENTS! anyone who's offered will get a part but I need more trechnicals now. - I can't flash a whole episode and Do a strip AND hold a job/uni - or it's gonna be an episode a month and hardly ever a strip! :(

EDIT - Another submission from an RL buddy -= He reckoned Niddy should get his own strip every so often - Like Dom in megatokyo - explaining the do's and don'ts of forums in a comedic way, or maybe just have him sitting behind a desk nerfing stuff,

"Ban... Nerf.... Sticky.... OH THAT IS _SO_ a BAN!" etc

I would offer to be a voice actor, but you already have all the ones you need, and I'm also really unreliable. So I'm quite possibly not your best choice.

Oh, and I know fuck all about flash, so I'm more of a moral and "in spirit" support kinda guy.

I feel kinda stupid like a fan-boy but, Im a good artist if you need one.
I mean, I was gonna do a NC comic, too bad it never got off the ground (no-photshop nor photshop skills).

WOO! It's Morning - I did a mock up of the tank for the comic - I'll scan it now and post it up =) - It's not inked, cos I did at like 11 at night - sleepyness and inking make awful bedfellows...

EDIT - Tank - Far from done. I HATE PA... Grrr. I'll spend the day on a few different facial exoressions for him, Do his armour up - because it looks a bit squify at the moment. But thats the kinda style I'm Going for.

Have a few planned -

"Lag"

Tank and Spy running from a Doy bot.

Tank suddenly freezes

Spy "Run! What the hell is wrong with you!?"

Tank - "I'm Stuck!" - Through gritted teeth - He's stuck remember!

Flash to KK HQ (or wherever the servers are)

Random KK employee - "Holger! The hamster died!"

Holger - "Well change it then!"

Flash back to NC - Doy bot fires, and we trace the shot coming towards the tank

Tank - Aaaargh! (through clenched teeth - He's still stuck)

(White flash)

We see the tanky on the ground with hi shelmet a few feet away Comedy crosses for eyes, and a hole in his forehead...

*Aerial shot*

Spy (on his Knees shaking fists at the sky)

"Damn you's KK! Damn You's all to heeeeeeeell!"

Another one?

Desert - We see a tank walking along

Tank - "OMG! DROMS!"

The tank singles out one drom

Tank - "EEEE! ^_^"

Walks up behind....

Tank - "SEX!!!"

Does all the hip motions

Cut to close up on droms face

We see a drom sat on top of a tank, his arm protruding out from underneath twitching.

It's a bit much to be doing the comic and a flash series at the mo... Spent all morning getting the comic tank right... So NeoMation is on hold - Neofragged is still going though, so if anyone wants to help then feel free - or if you wanna give NeoMation a go - It's all yours...

Just finished colour testing The tank character - Lemme know how it looks - Proportions aren't right - his legs need to be chunkier, but it's not like this is the final draft of it.

if you still need hosting for any finished .swf files etc just attach them to the forum if it allows them.

if not create thread and attachthem at location on my sig then link to that since i allow swf's and have enough bandwidth/storage for you needs

Heres a different style - Cant go full black, or his hair may dissappear in dark scenes - like tunnels and stuff... also need to see certain effects such as lighting.
