View Full Version : Bit Torrent
sounds like a great idea, but unfortunately doesn't work as well as it could.
My home network is totally crippled and I now remember what it was like to have 56k - and don't like it.
I will keep it on when I am not needing the connection, to try to help everyone get it ASAP!
Wish this could've been done another way, as it sucks arse.
yea as I've been saying bittorrent is alright but not for everyone. BT on a 56k also is horrid. Also I suggest trying different clients as some can be real hogs on your system resources. If people are sucking up too much of your bandwidth and it's slowing your down everywhere else... learn to cap your upload.
I do believe there are some users who have downloaded and setup the file on an FTP . . .

yes al
why dident u buy a dvd writer!?
i think it was because it was only 4x speed and 4x speed + loads of gigs to burn = ********.
Each file fits onto one CD anyway, and hopefully patches will be done too - so can burn for you laterz (bring CD's unless you already got some here?)
