If i make a new char in open beta..can it be transfered to retail..?

As far as I know, no.

Possibly if KK introduce a way to upgrade a beta account to a full account, but there's been no mention of that yet.

no, the question is, if you have a expired account ( mines just expired on the 5th), will you be able to transfer your character over too beta without having to reactivate

No, cos you need to pay for the upgrade, which gives you a month free subs, so you've reactived in effect.

You can transfer your current chars to the beta, it's to test the transfer system before the real transfer to NC2. I think it's going to work later this week.

cba to look it up but it was said the transfer system would be tested on the end of beta. so around the last few days.
