Ok, so we all know that sometime in sept (i guess) NC2 will hit retail, and u can download to client. But its a bloody huge client. So, what i was thinking about was this:

u download nc2, start paying it, and bam - windows buggers itself in the bum and u have to format. So you reformat and then u have to download the entire client again, seeing as it was way to big to fit on CD

so what i am asking is, when will it hit the shelves???? because i would want to buy a copy for situations like this tbh

yea, but that still would be annoying

it also stops the fact that i thought KK would be advertising this a lot more. Hell i have only seen 5 copies of NC in the shops around me, they going to do the same with NC2?

I'm sure that it will come in parts much like the original download version of neocron.

This would mean maybe 2 - 3 Cd-r's however but it will save you a lot of time.

However this is what i "think" is happening, its not offical in any way.

Special Offers and i live in italy u can see very low cost dvd burner in german / uk / usa ;)

Btw also a CD Burner has a cost :p

How long is a piece of string? (and dont say exactly twice as long as half of it or some other smartass thing ;) :p)

I can't answer that as i don't know, i know as much as most of you do.

last i heard neo 2 wont be avalible as box to start with, only download at first, then box version will come later.

1)I dunno what happened to the preorders
2)No u ain't dowloading for free
3)Why would u download the same file twice!
u just pay once for each account

no you only download it once, you just have to pay for both accounts.

the preorder you did way back when is from when KK were planning on doing one thing, now they are doing something else, i.e. releasing it as download first

I stayed away from the preorder, as i thought it was just a way of making money ahed of selling your product.
And with KK being in such a directionchanging state (at the time?) i felt it was a "hot" item.

I guess they'll just deduct that from your new upgrade price.

Although if they do that, i do smell some legal issues, unless they had a small print in the agreement for the preorder.

They didnt charge me yet they were to charge account when the transaction took place which never happened

I just upgraded my internet connection to 8 mbps so im ready for the huge download =D

To bad my PC sux =(, but ill soon upgrade the PC to hopefully.

2-3 cds.. ie 1-1.5gb will equal <1hours download for you ;)

Yea Winnoc sounds like we will all have to pool our money quikly to buy the clan key before they reinstate epice runs to get clan keys. So no english server ugh going international...mmm

Ofcourse you can DL it for free, but you need to create account to get CD key and thats going to cost to you :p

Personally I think I would die if there are daily server downtime. Just think how awful it would be when after hard friday drinking night you get up in awful hangover, launch up the MMORPG you are playing and notice that there are server maintance....
