It showed some cool things in there never seen in HL2. Showed some great things about the physics engine as well. Here is one of my favorite parts I took a screenshot of.

Right before he picked up the blade using the weapon or tool or whatever you want to call it, I forget. Then aims it at the zombie and chops the zombie right in half.. I love it :D.

That was so impressive. Before I watched this I was a Half Life 2 sceptic, no more! It looks as if weapons will be very underpowered and players will be forced into using there brain and the enviroment to survive, setting traps and finding enviromental weapons.

I love the grave gun idea^^, makes EVERYTHING in the room/hallway/cave/goverment facility a weapon. heck, even gernades that the enemy throws can be "picked up" and hurlled right back at em^^

The only thing Im wondering though is, as I watched some of the videos is, how the hell do you kill a strider!? lol

Knowing the physics engine, I would guess you chop off it's legs with flying razorblades and then smack the torso over the head with a crowbar.

i was hyped about hl 2 but my friend told me the radeon 9800 xt gets like an average of 42.5 fps... I dont have a card nearly that good. can anyone tell me if thats true?

im on a GF4 MX 440, and i get about 20-30 execpt is lots of things are happening.

They are'nt new. They are old video's just in bink format. Still good none the less. :)

Actually the video has about 1 min and 30 seconds of new footage. At least thats what they said on the HalflLife2.net forums, I didnt compare to make sure.
