If NC2 is buggy as NC1, this is the only keyboard you'll need:

I've got one and the only keys that are missing are the print screen/Insert/delete pad and the numpad. That said, it is a bit tacky and I don't use it. You can also get key sets for specific games which have commonly used macros laid out for you, such as quick keys for team/local speech and creature commands etc.

@Ryuben was £40 with a standard key layout for windows, and the gamer key set too.

One of my co-workers has that keyboard, he seems to think its pretty good but he is a Doom addict. He has 3 different keyboard layouts for it, they are: the one shown above, the Special Doom layout (similar to the one above but more specialised for the game Doom3) and finally a version which is laid out like a conventional keyboard.

Personally it is not for me, I am a 'wasd' gamer and have my key set up for all games burned into my head.

For me this is the best keyboard I have had ever...

3 main reasons..

1) It is really easy to use in the dark at night, the image doesn't do it justice the keys really glow in a soft light blue while the letters remain black.

2) The keyboard is not tacky in the slightest, quality keys that don't make loud tapping noises (similar noise level that most laptop keyboards use) very important to me if I am playing games or working while the Wifey is asleep in the bedroom next door!

3)In the light the keyboard is Silver with White Keys, it just looks dam sweet especially with my current desk setup (matches my monitors etc ;) )

A tad expensive maybe in some ppls eyes (cost me 50 quid) but I have been using it for 3 months now and have not regretted the purchase once!

Omg, what's the name of that board? Mewantmewant! :D  :D

Really, I've seen other ones with lights, and they were all shitty... I hate low-quality keyboards. Currently using a very cheap one (logitech deluxe access anyone? :D )

One thing I DEMAND from a keyboard, is that I can press ANY combination of keys at once. Most keyboards (not really old ones, they had different circuits for all keys) don't support pressing certain key-combinations. For instance, I can't run in nc (holding shift + w) and selecting a weapon in slot 2 (pressing 2)... simply put, I just run forward not pulling a gun. I want a keyboard that feels good (low sound-levels, fast keys, ie, short distance to the base, no idea what it's really called  ) and supports all key-combinations (at least any 5 keys at once) which would be ideal for playing... they're hard to find though...

It's called the FireFly by Manhattan, a google search should provide you with more info and retailer stockists. Here's some more pics I just took.. ;)

uhm, it 's quiet? so it must be... RUBBER !
Took me few months to find an unused keyboard built in 1994 on microswitches with ultra-hard click and I paid my ass out to get it.
Switches > rubber, and if anyone would bring me a rubber one saying that mine is too loud, I'd smash it on his head and then force him to eat all 104 keys one by one....
