Now ever ones been asking for some thing for the VETS players from NC 1 - 2
why not some thing simple like put all the chars u transfer over SL to 100
:D simple thing looks good and is something that means alittle or a lot, and doesn't affect the game play much.
Yup, or some kind of extra tag saying NC1 Veteran. or .Vet after our star rankings
... or some kind of special tag ...
... Or a medal (if only we could wear them) ...
Uhm.. I don't geddit. Why should SL be set to 100?
What does that achieve? o.O

or give people that played neocron 1 or even beta4 an extra star :) nothing to do with the basic rank, yust an extra star for show :)
or what about making all the items we can take undestructable (the 10 in the quickbelt), as in no need for repairs ... ever :P (woot @ all mc5imps ya take with ya)
OR what about neocron1 players get 1 PA of there choise as a present in full black or full white (pe, spy, monk, tank, whatever) :) (yeah i still want a completely white ppucloack with them red eyes :P)
or what about a special imp as a present ? (a hybrid-imp for example, doing +10mc & hc or +10apu & ppu or +10pistol/rifle ...)
would be cool yeah, i can dream right :)

Id like to see the vet or maybe a little image over our name which shows that weve been playing for so long lol. Itd be quite cool, SWG gave out paintings for their year anniversary, maybe we could get something like that?

edit: asking for a present isnt the way to go ffcourse, presents should come spontaneously from someone, hint hint :D

I have 95 SL, worked for it hard, don't like idea to be everyone given same, why?
lol that 100 will drop to -10 the first day I play most likely. So no. :p Maybe something else would be cool though.
There's another MMO that had massive problems when it was launched, and the company rewarded all the "loyal" customers that had stuck by them with a special item (something backpack, IIRC) that gave a few nice bonuses.

I actually agree with this. Something would be nice. Nothing that gives an actual advantage though(or a small one). Something like a special rank, or perhaps a vest that looks cool or a medallion. But I don't like the idea of putting SL to 100. 1 simple misfire can ruin our "reward" lol.

Personally I think that further inflating the ego's of some of the Vets here would be a bad idea.

Getting something would be vrery nice, got presents in Ultima Online and the whole idea ruled. Then again UO was run by a company that gave 2 flying shits about its customers so i don't expect anything in NC.
You never got anything that helped really mostly just things that decorate your house or a ethereal mount or a cloak or dye tub or something it was kewl and made u play.
100 SL would suck as ill be red b4 i log off :)
would be nice if the vets did get something, most other games ive played vets did get rewards after so long playing or what have you
only thing us vets get around here is kicks in the teeth from KK.

I had 100 SL on my PE, accidentally killed one NPC and magically had -14 SL :D
The SL idea is a bad one but something would be nice.

Wouldnt the SL 100 thing just invite a few days of unrestrained PKing? I dont think PKing is bad at all, but some of the newbies might not like it.
I like the idea of a special color PA of choice given to vets. It wouldnt have any added powers.....just color. Gold....or Platinum would be cool :) My spy could look like a terminator!!! :D

I agree with giving SOMETHING special to the vetrens, I mean, it's really only fair especially seeing as they are wiping us down to 'new character' status in terms of items and epics...
most other MMOs do that when they go for the expansion...
I had 100 SL for a while, and was damn proud of it too.

I was gonna push for some kinda 100SL reward too, like an extra safe slot or something.
I voted no cause 100sl is pointless in my opinion.
The idea of a reward for vets would be cool.Maybe something like a cool avatar size or little bigger doomreaper statue to throw in your apt.Wouldnt want it to be something overpowering though. Hmm forgot about this idea for a vet reward and i posted it earlier :D
Give proto and bio tech a new reward for epic.Let all the chips pass to NC2 as a Vet reward.
With similar chips put in to make then not needed for top setups.

yeh maybee a special something u can put on ur char liek a special UBA kewl looking pair of sunglasses or a uba armor piece that only the vets got and would not be availeble to buy anywhere

KK are not going to give us an advantage over new ppl, its enough of an advantage that we are capped and they are 0/2.
If your looking for a hand out just go to one of the item drops that people are doing as they quit this game.
You only need to look at the number of accounts up for auction on ebay to see how dissapointed people are with kk's bull shit.

I've never had more then like +30 SL in the whole of like 4 years playing neocron :D soooo, I'd much rather have the sexeh 4th star in my rank. Or just simply the choise of ANY item that exists in Neocron or Neocron 2. There are bunches of items that actualy exist in Neocron itself that were never implemented. Just to mention one, the halo-vests for spy class. These were put into the game in one of the last patches but they STILL never implemented the missions to get one :wtf: . And then there is stuff like the belt of zargerus or whatever, a tank belt that is about the equil to a light deflector belt but has the int req. for a tank O_o. also a item that would be a great thing to be one of the select few people to own, but sadly it is not obtainable

Yes I know you will not drop from 100 SL to neg 32. But if you have already under 0 SL then your dropping to neg 32. So therefore this would be a bad idea because everyone would end up with neg 32 SL, well that is the PKers.
I'm all for the special vet item. but for gods sake don't make it some usefull pvp item. make it rather something just to show of like a statue for the apartment. A rare flashlight or whatever aslong as it aint an item that would make the vets gain more advantage during pvp.

simple. a crown, the colour of ur choice, infact make the crown a 1 time preset (much like books and datacubes made from traonic parts or ethics and launchers) of the colour of ur choice, and hex number (colour slider for nibs who dont know hex coloures) this would be great, the crown should only be 1 per person NOT character i.e. 1 per acount, and wears in the place of head amour, no stat bonus, cant be traded (if non trade is posible) it would own going to parties with a crown on my head, jus to prove i aint a choob joining nc2 and that i played nc1 not oen of the (expected) noobies influxing into the game.
also events by gms should give speical dres items, these aint to help ur character but rather proov ur dedication, time, or skill,
like a special non stat PA with medels of gm events u participated in, or gm compertitions u won
