You'd be surprised. There are lots of people who would get really giddy at a naming scheme like that and hit it just because. It's like the Drom thing >_> Or whatever people seem to think is funny at the time. Then you'll get the bandwagon jumpers and wannabes and it's set in stone.
As said earlier .. I would like a naming scheme that was more inline with neocron itself. Like named after mobs or even better .. places ingame. Server: Canyon Reload.

Server: Crystal Cave
Server: Regants
Server: El Farid
Server: Escador
Server: Yucida

id love to play on dieased rat server or the baneful plant server
or maybe name it after important NPCs like the reesa server
or maybe simply colours red server, blue server, green server, or maybe go after stars and galaxies, andromeda, alpha centari, sol,
but if they wanna stick to planets mercury is a hot name for a server :)

Nah, I prefer the planet names - Neutral and unrelated to the game so doesn't instigate any server name-behavour bias in-game (e.g. No-one's said factions for server names - Would a TG runner love to be on the CityAdmin server? :p)
NC used five planets, which leaves Mercury, Earth, Mars & Neptune - How about them? Then again, technically NC2 is a different game so the other five planets could be recycled as the new server names ;)
