Hey all, Just put up a thread to get to know the german players that we will probably be hunting and trading with come september. I'm currently compiling a list of useful phrases and questions with them.

Well 50 views. Hope some were copy and paste jobs. It seems that I have no support on a phrasebook for NC or guides to playing times and stuff, was hoping to provide info on what times different people played at, style of play in comparison to ours etc, to help get people oriented. Guess not.

I played on uranus for a long time before the server pops went crazy. Consequently I learned a bit of german to help me get by. This is how i understood it and it seemed to work. keep in mind this is how i translated it in my own mind


Suche = seek
danke = thanks
weider = away (wider apart)
I never figured out bitte except maybe it's like please (was always used with danke)

many people would help you with translations, the items seem to be named the same thing in both german and english so that helps with the trading.
