Its been a year now since i last worked on a gaming site after it closed (Archive of the site (http://web.archive.org/web/20030623162517/http://www.madgamers.net/) and now i want to build my own site and start from scratch. Its all Games news mainly from all formats.

You've just experienced the problems with domain name buying - All the simple ones are taken, so you have to think original.

I had this problem last week - Tried to get a bluestar.*** one but the only ones I can find available were .plc.uk and .ltd.uk - so I had to think of a few more combinations.

I finally stuck with [url=http://www.icybluestar.co.uk]]icybluestar.co.ukurl] :D (Uranus-FA members who know me should know why I picked it ;) )

not true. it's squatter search enging websites that buy domains. they either buy them when they think they'll be wanted, or they snatch up unrenewed domain names the SECOND the dns link is removed from the website.

i hate squatter search engines so much.
