In NC1 the US version had to be censored, strippers wearing panties and stuff like that (for shame) Maven had to make a stripper patch, so is the US going to have the cut down strippers wearing panties again, or the full on hardcore naked strippers?

Oh, no reason, I just dont think the American audience should have the cut down Disney version of NC, like that sign in Pepper Park with the stripper pulling her panties down to show you her "goods" from what I hear, its smudged in the US version! I'll just limit myself to saying that censorship in the states has gone way over the board in recent years (surprise surprise), if you feel the need to shout and petition and sue for 1/2 a second of boob on TV then you have some serious issues....

I noticed a difference between American and European culture yesterday when I was watching Fox News. Their slogan apparently is "The News Network you can Trust" or some such. If a european channel used a slogan like that then no one would watch them as they would be considered far too pretentious. Just something I noticed.

we got the BBC, so we have no censorship, like they had this documentary on a while back about witch-craft, and they said the C word (rhymes with hunt) in its original context, and people were like "oh, kewl". But typically our watershed is 9pm, and after that almost anything goes (channel 5 does softcore porn O_o). For Digital though, the watershed is 8pm cause its encrypted channel (I got sky digital, i get to watch pr0n @ 8 - but they got Jackie Chan on this weekend in Tuxedo, so I'm blaggin the tv for myself :D)

Is there a way to get The unpatched verison for americans?...I would really appreciate the game the way it was intended to be. I mean...what if I move to europe etc. How exactly do they check you out for that content?...is it client based...do they check you when you download and see which part of the net your on?...how do they know you need to have the censored version?

Anyway, was maven a GM, Stormbot, or player? Maybe this is something we can have like the NNL. Something KK didn't make but still is ok to use.

Yeah I was thinking it could be player made but you will be baned if you mess with anything that is not an .ini so that is why I thought KK could make it.

Being an american, and even more an art student, I study the human body a LOT. So much so that things get kinda boring, which is sad, and its also helped me relize. Whats the big friggin deal? Yah its nice we dont have people just running up and down the streets nakid, but come on, the amount of panic that a little nudity can cause over here is near the level of a friggin saudi attack.
