Heya,

Been thinking about setting up a newsfeed that people could add to (Moderated of course :p) using an RSS feed (XML thingy :))

What do you think, and how would you suggest it would be done if you want it?

Basically like a newsgroup, but RSS based. This means you use a program like Feedreader etc to read postings of news etc. It's based on XML as the language for the text.

(Setting up a trial one now, i'll post instructions when it's done)

The winamp NC plugin does display stuff in the chat window right?
Could be cool to make a small program that keeps a list of the news and when something new is added it displays it in the chat window :)

I would do that, but I have no idea where to start or what to use.. if it's itemgfx based or what...

ItemGFX could probably do it, though you'd have to make a whole browser to parse XML/RSS.... if you want to try, go ahead :p I think MM made a browser a while back, run a search
