This isn't really important I guess..Just a thought..
I'm really sick of people stealing other peoples names/avatars/sig's..
Names, well, it could be an honest mistake, but when you see ``character name already in use``, pick something else, instead of adding some bullshit character so it will pass the name filters.
I'm just tired of seeing people I ``know`` and then finding out it's someone else.
Or, for example, someone on the english forum's took one of my roommates's avatars, and stretched it into a sig...
Are we really that mindless that we can't come up with an identity all by ourselves?
I met one guy who blatantly admitted that he stole his character name off the french forums...

Someone decided to make a char with my name but with an I where my l is.
Got himself and the rest of his accounts banned though :).
depends if its a common name or a name more than 1 person can come up with.
ie: i have a char named Omega ( with a zero ) and people ask me all the time if I am the constructor Omega(something else after the name cant remember tho) and i say no.
but the first person with the name Omega oviously doesnt even play anymore because ive never seen him and never been confused with him
i get people asking me if i'm optimus or something from pluto, had about 20+ people ask me that. Still dunno who the hell he is :wtf:

Im not original so I have to steal all my stuff from other sources, though have never directly taken some ones avatar or sig. I love my avatar, its from an awesome cyberpunking painting I found, but I cant find it again, and only have the section I cut out. :( I want to find it again.
Well no one have ever even tryied using my nicks (VhOpMaN & Endar). I use those names in every game I play and never seen anyone else using those names. Someone have stolen the nick name that my friends call me at hotmail.com tho (Maade) so I had to take another (Maade_TheRealOne) :D The strange thing is that I couldnt find other people using "Maade" than me when I searched with www.fi and Google...

i know in cartel there were a number of people with same name so its was like umm are you the real dank(as there was ][)ank and dank) or the zoneseek. remember being asked if i was real Ezza when i made the Ezza dot

In relation to BDOY.
Lets say JoeVet goes on holiday or can't log in for a few days. Meanwhile someone creates a new character called JoeVet on the DOY server. Now the first guy logs in and tries to move their characters to the server. What happens then?

Im actually supprised no one has taken my nick on neocron yet. when i started using it people were like "Hey why didnt i think of that name" ive started to see some in Counter-strike but not neocron yet

actually i stole this name, back along time ago. Around 6 years ago I played a game called Netstorm ( failed project of Activision ) and there was a guy named Shujin Rik. He quit, and he was a bud of mine so i changed my name to Shujin Jay or something like that, after a while i dropped what i had after Shujin and just used Shujin.
Never ran into anyone else using it until i beta'd FFXI online, and there was a dude named Shujin (somename after it) and i was like ;o omg... we sat there looking at eachother for a while and was like ;o... he never seen anyone else using it either ;P

A few days ago I saw a female spy called Little Terror same as mine cept with a space >.< Well anyway he said I stole his name I was like you what bearing in mind this other lil t was 0/2. They then said oh I'm gonna make a char just like yours with the same name and get you a bad reputation I told the little dick I'll get your arse banned if you do he would not beleave me.

And my APU Igor was also copied... just've seen (and killed :p ) him once. He called himself "Igor FU".

there was a guy on saturn called original gangster ... being nib as he was he went Pking lots of other poor niblets ...
one of them niblets had the smart idea to call emself original prankster ... after being PKed by original gangster ...
i saw original prankster at an OP and was allready waving a full artifact xray cursed soul infront of he's nose ... then he explained the whole situation :)
ffcourse the first thing i did was track down the original gangster char and kept keeling em everytime i saw em .. and spitting on he's dead corpse afterwords ... this guy sucked ass bigstyle pvpwise :/
(cause of the simple fact i cant pvp decently myself ... if ya then get killed by me ... then youre REALLY poor lol)

about the sigs and the avaters ... why in gods name would u steal someone else's avater ? there easy to make and its the onlything ya have to distinct yourself from the rest ... use that option !

Don't think anyone has knicked any of my names yet, although when on my tank I keep being asked if I am Kayne from Pluto. And my droner has a name that is similar to quite a few, although I didn't know that at the time or I would have not chosen it :(

i have played as "Jester" in computer games for years.
when i started on NC i met -=Jester and TheJester... does this mean that calling myself Jester is copying them? o_O (not that it matters as i called myself NC Junkie :p)

prolly did at some time, and i think i have a shujin char atm on saturn but he's a noob char now. when i cap a char i usually delete it and make a new char and havent used shujin as a name for quite some time.
