Not a Hax! Don't close! For all you who think hacking a op/belt/whatever under 30 seconds isn't possible... feel free to download this video. 7 megs, 30 seconds.

eh? of course its possible, anythings possible, and hack interface is only up for 30 seconds so much logically be possible without having to download a video to show that it is possible what i said is possible, possibly.

Sorry a lot of people think that hacking under 30 seconds is an exploit. :p
Hehe my record on an op hack is I think it was somewhere around 7-10 sec. Thats my personal record though :D

And hacking is relative to skill, so try hacking a op with 100 hack in < 30 seconds
Hey, I didn't do the video to show off.. I just did it because I've been accused of exploiting more than once in the last few days because I hacked a belt in under 30 seconds.
And I was frankly too lazy to hunt out a warbot to hack for a video since I can just gr to an op with no si and hack that.

I've done one in 20 seconds with 100 hack. The lower the hack the easier it is to speed through, as the enemy AI gets it's charges off quicker.

Thats what I did, I actually had 95 hack, hacked first layer in 7-10 sec :D
I dont know if the spy boost was "invisible" or something because I felt the hack was very easy for 95 hacking.

Yes, that's exactly correct. I had 120 hack so it took longer than I wanted. I know tanks that hack warbots faster than I do just because the AI screws up faster. For me, the AI moves really really slow because I have much higher hack so warbots take most of the 30 seconds.

Ruyben I did hack it in that time, it's not impossible. Im not lying or joking, it's the truth, I swear to God and all that is holy, that I hacked a layer at that time.
EDIT: oh, I cant show you, because I've deleted that character and none of my characters is hacking, well one does but he is a fairly low level apu and doesnt even have 70 hack and to get that kind of luck again..
I said someone should make a hack screen vid to show people how to do it and you did well done you :)
Actually there isn't much I can hack in less than thirty seconds because my hack skill is so high (since I have never lommed believing hacknet would come about ealier than NC2). It's a major pain in the ass being out hacked someone who has half the hack skill because the AI moves faster for them, has more open pathways to use and doesn't just sit there doing nothing.

I actaully had to log in and take quick peek. I'm currently TL 135 base. Add in a couple of chips and away I go. I hope it works out well in NC2 or I'll feel like a real...winner :wtf:

Actually I believe this was intended. You have to find the best level for hack according to what you hack to perform faster. Otherwise it would be very easy.

yep I had 50 hack to do WB's I could do it fast but with 111 hack to WB's computer is so slow to respond to my hack it takes alot longer maybe that would be the time to just let me have the hack.

sure it is ^^ you make the opposing comp use its nodes then you use all yours to complete the hack in no way is it exploiting

Yes but Mumbles mentions having a lower hack helps. That doesn't seem like it makes sense. Why penalize people who have invested more points in the hacking skill?

well what happens is the more hack you got the slower the other computer your trying to hack responds and can increase the time to completely hack it. If I hack a warbot with 111 hack most of the time I'm waiting for it to counter my moves as its so slow and dumb cos I have way over 50 hack
Yeah if you're closer to the same level, hacks go by faster. But if you're much higher, you're almost guaranteed to win. It just won't be as fast.

Might wanna get a 150ish hacker to show the fact that hacking belts under 5sec isn't an exploit either...

Excuse me but what 30 seonds are you talking about? Isn't it 20 seconds? That's what i get on boxes & warbies. Is it different on OP's?
And yes, there are ways of getting the computer to spend his open lines on shite, then u just spend yours on good and the hack completes under time - no exploit.. just smart thinking - which infact is what hacking IRL is about.
I did a 6s one once, think it was Hawkins or whatever the one S of battle dome/sieger is... the clan had left GR open to all, so got nice bonus.
145 base + Spy3 + OP Bonus (Uplink) + Dolinskin + Hack3 + SF = w0000t :p
OVer 220, worked nicely.

the video says 17 seconds, but it is actually 18 seconds :p
Ya it changes from 13 to 12 seconds left just as it say hack successful.
