Pistol spy stuff.

Hi.

I was just curious why every pistol spy I see uses slasher as opposed to executioner?

Is it the easy aiming? RoF?

Was just curious because in every experience I've been in, exec > slasher by FAR.

Well slasher is alright for leveling but this is all from a pvp perspective.

So the fact that slasher does 30-40 damage a burst to a random target, and then exec does 70 damage is totally dismissed?

well from the slashers ive seen its like almost non stop fire.

offtop of head dont know RoF stats on either, but im guessing the burst damage and RoF work better than Exe

though it could be that people just chose slasher for what shadow said

i mean if its good weapon, which it is, and looks cool then why not

thoughif your owning with exe then cool, np

Well no matter what people in this thread say about exec vs slasher I will still continue to use exec.

The RoF on slasher is annoying; it's nonstop fire so you never know when a new burst is starting.

The stats on the rof guns btw are 395/min for slasher and 185/min for exec.

Anyway I was just curious why every other pistol spy chooses slasher?

Are you sure the RoF for slasher is 395? I cant seem to get above 340/min with PC boost 3 on me.

I only ever used slasher in pvp so far, cos the exec i got atm aint that good, but so far ive had no problem with it, it roxx0rs :)

Well if 340 is the cap that's cool cuz I get 333 self buffed... I'll get a PC 3 and see if I can go higher than 340... But I don't see how a libby has more rof than slasher.

So when slasher was first released, it was 495 RoF. Although it was bugged because the highest RoF the game was created for... was the smgs (liberator) at 370/min.

So they moved it down to 370 so it was displayed properly?

Slasher owns, i like the fact my target gets a slight break (for reload) and that's it just constant hits after that there just gonna either lotsa flashes or there health going down fast.

Also think slasher does more dmg over time....

I use slasher atm, because the ammo weights less then half the amount of exe-ammo. :O

also the slasher has a higher accuracy at long range and i find i can own tanks even when my spy is not stealthing and is set up for hunting,of course a apu or a sniper= dead lol
