Is there anyway to make a logo i have at work which i need to make a lot larger but without losing any quality to the picture and to stop it distorting?

I'm looking to making it to the size of about 2000x4000 pixels. Any program that can do this? It goes too crappy with Paint :(

ARGH, meant to be on white Background.

What are you planning to use it for? If it is for printing you could try changing the DPI rather then the scale of the picture.

These should be able to do it (all good products)..

The Gimp (Free) http://www.gimp.org/
Paintshop Pro (not free) http://www.jasc.com/
Photoshop (not free, expensive) http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/main.html

With Paintshop Pro you can also smooth the picture after scaling it. 99.9% sure you can do that with the others as well.

this works.. sometimes.
in photoshop, set the canvas to whatever larger size you want. then manually scale the image. (edit>transform>scale) hold shift while dragging a corner to keep the aspect ratio.
i find that usually has less effect on the quality of the image. altho.. making it that much bigger without any quality loss is gonna be a challenge.

edit-
if all else fails you can always call it a rembrandt.

If you have access to "Adobe Streamline" it should be able to make the raster in to vectors, which can be scaled as much as you like.

Maybe you can find other products that can do the same.
