This contest (http://mmhell.com/articles/contests/science_fiction_beta_contest_double.html) refers to it as BDoY also, and it's featured at the top of the page in a thread by Thanatos. So I don't see why the contest at MMORPG.com would be bogus.

Well the main reason I posted was because of the banner, didn't really care about the giveaway, the banner advertises more than anything.

Goddamn..they got some real idiots reviewing NC..Pretty obvious that most of 'em don't have a clue..the reviews seemed about 50/50, they either loved it or hated it..

Good to see some Neocron players on the the boards there..nice post Vetterox..saw a Benjie too, dunno if it's the Neocron Benjie though..

This contest is only for members who do not live in Europe (there is another contest for EU members)
Does that mean EU's will need to be able to draw to get in?
edit: nvm just means that less EU's will be able to win it.

OVERVIEW:

2 contests - one for EU (5 prizes) and one for the rest of the world (15 prizes)
2 phases - first phase will be drawn on August 1 and we will give out a total of 20 beta accounts. The second phase will be drawn on August 15 where we will give out 5 retail copies of the game
You MUST be 18 years or older to enter. Neocron is rated "M" for mature audiences only.
Beta CD's will actually be mailed - so please don't bother trying to enter a contest outside of your geographical region.
Both contests are one and the same but split :) Details are your friend people :p :D

Ok some one PMed saying he contacted mmorpg.com about BDoY and lo and behold they contacted KK and I guess put some thing up for not only beta accounts but also the potential to win retail accounts. Im not sure why he wanted me to do it, he might be either inactive account or banned, but Ill go ahead and leave his name out just in case. (You never know with these mods :p).

Actually I think they just need to adjust the title of the mmhell contest topic to include mmorpg in it also . . . and then merge this into that. Way too many Sticky topics already imo.
