Fog blinding

Fog in the outzone is pretty bad for me, so bad in fact I can't see the warbot I can put my crosshair on & lock on to, I've tried the fog distance thing, any other ideas?

I get this on Pluto, in the wastelands. I've tried various settings, but no luck.

Maybe there's a forest fire somewhere........ :p

so there is no way then to reduce the fog to non-existant

Do you have the fog actually disabled? There's a slider to adjust the fog distance, and then beneath it is a toggle to turn it on or off. Make sure it's set to off, as there is a fair difference between on with the slider at full and off.
