I'm a huge fan of the Alien and also the predator franchises. But I seriusly think this movie is going to blow.... I'ts from the director who totaly fucking ruined resident evil. :( and I have been waiting for a AvP movie for so long...

I liked the Resident Evil movie. I hardly played the games though and when I did I wasn't impressed.

I'm not sure about the AvP movie. I've been waiting for it for well over ten years now and it's been through so many changes I have no idea what to expect.

Anderson seems fine to me. Event Horizon was one of the best Sci-Fi/Horror movies since Alien (which it clearly owed a lot to) so he's proven her can do this stuff well.

Then again there's Mortal Kombat........
