This is recorded from the Pluto PvP Tournament last night/morning.
A Uranus movie will be released after tonights event, and hopefully another one for Saturn after that one.
Also a compilation movie will be uploaded with the best moments. :p
Edit: Required Windows Media Player- will encode the next one with DivX ;p having problems atm
Oh my, soon we'll be able to compare PvP skills on different servers due to these videos. :p

Yep, Saturn is moved to Monday, I have something else on tomorrow which was the original planned date :)
mmm do you know the time it will be on monday? or are you going to make a thread for it later?
It will be on at 9pm UK time, 10pm Germany, 4pm New York, same time as on the other servers.

I thought it was pretty good considering the logistics of making a Neocron video. With normal FPS games i'd just make a demo then export it to BMP's or run the demo and record using Fraps, seeing as Fraps cuts your framerate down ALOT when you film (unless this doesnt happen in more recent versions). I thought it was pretty choppy (and no, this isn't an issue with my PC), as if the cameraman is getting a horrendous FPS.
Anyhow, good effort considering the potential difficulty and the time you spent on it. It's funny how i'm up there as a competitior (Cosmo) even though i didn't do much heh :p

but im thinking more along the lines of uberness coz he does have his moments of pure genious like that
I'm watching the vid, and its running at 20-24fps, which i guess is the speed it was recorded (I get upto 70fps in NF, average 40 though)

i'm not talking about the FPS of the video itself, which seems to be running at the PAL standard (25 fps) but more the FPS of the actual content.
that speedgun is actualy hard to hit with. my pe only uses it on slow targets and monks becouse a tpc is much more effective. that was some incredable aim. congrats on winning tostinos (did i spell that right?)
and ya i thought the video was realy choppy. and dont give me its my computer. becouse its not.
it indeed does jump around at times, but NC itself uses 100% CPU load, so the load for the recording software would be very bad, unless they changed NC to lower priority and the recording software to "realtime" to give the recorder more CPU priority.

I C THE PROBLEM HERE :eek: "Graphics : GeForce 4 MX4400 (Upgrading to Radeon X800 AIW)" keke......damn u gonna get x800 8| how much it that thing worth...i can't even imagene nc on that system with teh new card lol, must be nice, send some screenes when u get it ^_^
I use a Geforce 4MX440, 64MB card - sex :p
Gives me uber FPS in NC, well, in some areas... in a window @ 800x600 :p

downloading 230 kbs and still going faster ( slowly ) hehe 3 min download ^^ nice.
Ok have solved the FPS problem, so Uranus and Saturn get un-jumpy movies (Or at least less jumpy)
I set Neocron's client.exe Processor Affinity to only 1 core (Hyperthreaded) so Fraps had more CPU power, works like a dream. Still not getting 25 FPS but I got some tricks up my sleeve to try out.
