I'm a little worried that Todd Howard is overseeing two big projects at once like this though. I just hope it goes well. I don't want a repeat of Fallout 2 v1.0 which although fun was buggy as hell and even the last official version didn't fix all the damn issues.

Still worried about this change of ownership... Still worried about the final result.

I don't like the word original in that announcement... Fallout 3 needs to continue on the beaten path, not try to create some entirely new thing.

Still, I'm worried. Bethesda are really talented, but they have a knack for trying to do too much, and getting way over their heads. Look at Morrowind, it's got a damn epic scope, which is admirable, but it's obvious that the design concept outstripped their abilities.

I also want them to stick to Black Isle's Fallout 3 design, hopefully even getting their code and picking up from where they left off. I want Black Isle's vision of a new Fallout. Not Morrowind: Fallout Edition.
