To be honest I couldn't really give a shit about this. Why am I even bothering to post? Cos maybe if your this fucking bothered about this one thing, then you ought to try and go round the internet, in fact the entire fucking globe, drawing up a list of shit like this, then sorting each one out "by emailing them, come on everybody, power in numbers!". I agree, and this is pretty much the way of the world; everyone has an opinion on different things, and everyone has "facts" to back that up; but almost inevitably at some point something will question that opinion and they will do something to contradict it. It's incredibly difficult to live by every opinion you have, and apply all of your belief's and view's to all of life's situations. Blah blah blah.

Damn you, you sure must from be one of the oldest 'minds' on this Forum. Why did it work because men used to consider woman like a peace of shit. If you think treating someone be it man or woman as a piece of shit is the way its should be i pitty you. The 'Role' model was and is only a way off opression. Woman are better and can do more than just raise children and cook your meal. (Which were the so called gender specific roles).

About your "if my kid gets run over crap.....", thats just wrong, there is a thing called common sense, not everyone has it, everyone should have it, there is NO excuse not to.
Common sense says teach your child what is dangerous, teach them how dangerous.... and make sure they dont fucking go near it.
Now these road laws are made for the people whom dont obey the above "common sense law".
Another EG. recently aired here on aussie TV is an Ad, whre a woman rides a bike through a stop sign without looking, gets hit by a car and the voice over states "if your speeding this is your fault, wipe off 5".
Now common sense says yes speeding is bad, but in every single way its her own fault. even if the driver was doing 50 or 40 he could not have stopped.

But that still doesnt stop the fact that yea, some people shouldnt be allowed to have opinions, some shopuldnt be allowed to mate, some shouldnt be allowed to drive, etc. the world is not a fair place, and people are trying to make it fair, while stuffing up everything that has worked in the past.
As for the "women" in roles thing, ok i agree that it was mainly suppression and the 50's model wasnt a nice one, but, sometimes the "strong" have to take charge for the good of the community, that is another problem, everyone personalises EVERYTHING, nothing is for the good of others, its all "me me me". "oh, some guy just got shot, lets ban guns, even though in certain situations they are needed, i dont give a fuck, what if MY child gets shot next?" etc.

Sorry to get in the way of all the righteous indignation but excessive political correctness is at least as bad as most of the things it opposes.
That is a perfectly acceptable and accurate definition for common usage where no additional context is given.
It is beneficial in any language to have a default definition for any word or phrase which has multiple meanings, especially if the meanings are opposed or radically different.
/edit - how did this get onto speed cameras? On that topic : anyone who supports them really needs to go read up on them and on the causes of road accidents before they open their mouths.

sexism is a very sore subject, i for one know it benefits females.
females wanted equal opportunities yet once given them they started to take roles as sales women part of the job description is to display products and to help carry items to customers vehicles etc. yet refuse to lift a heavy box and use the excuse "im a girl" sorry but because im male im not going to lift that box your being sexist :p
