Ok now i got a problem with my laptop, when i start it up it loads up thorugh the bootscreen to the welcome screnn and goes to my desktop. There it stops, no icons, no task bar, no tast manager, just my custom desktop wallpaper.

But a coupla months ago when I reformatted my harddrive i accidently installed a second windows (i know im a computer noob), and that works, cept I cant use that coz it hasnt got any of my drivers or anything installed

Any ideas on how to get it to start up normally?

When the windows bootscreen appears, press F5. This will present you with a diagnostic menu.
Try selecting "Safe Mode" or the like and see if that helps (to start with).

cheers, it started in safe mode but not in normal, but at least i could do restore, got it working now
