Yup...its another pointless idea from me n_n

Was kicking about the wastes last night with a few mates and i started
thinking about how there was very few places to take a rest out there.
So if you get tired out in the middle of no where would you just stand till you
fall over.....Hell no you would sit down lol so i think it would be sweet if we
could have a lil sit down emote sorta thing. Now before the pvp combat
crack addicts say "Hell no wtf is that gona do for the game" was thinking
since your taking a rest it could also speed up the time your health go back
up....prolly double the speed or something.

Now since we are on about that shouldn't we also have something for the lil
sniper chaps/chicks out there? the lil buggers should be able to lay down on
the ground to lower there visibility and also get a better aim. but you
should'nt get the health speed up in that position since its a combat
positionand sitting isn't.


Now if someone else has posted this before....sowwy lol

Neverwinter Nights is very heavily emoted, and it's actually a great lot of fun. So much so that you can even use emotes in a creative way!

I do think there needs to be places of rest in the wastelands, sitting emote would be fun but i would perfer to see a series of wasteland pubs and bartertown small camps dotted in most sectors or something like that heh

yea I had suggested this about a month ago . . but I just put to be able to regen faster in chairs . . . and maybe being able to actually lay down. But if you want to sit totally on the ground there should be a delay in your getting up instead of intant springup. I wish rez was like that ..you actualy have to get up off the ground. ;)

Seriously... totaly un nessesary, this isnt the deserts of california with a rest stop on every 30 miles of road, this is a land after the apocolipse.... as for healing, you can heal just fine on your own.

The only good thing I could see would be that it might be a good pk spot.

Option to sit down, and lie down and go prone (only allows certain weapons to be used in prone, rest are disabled).

Should be..

Sit down. - Heals stamina faster. disables all items except tools
Lie down - Heals health faster. disables all items.
Meditate - Heals PSI faster. disables all items.

go Prone - Rifles and certain other items allowed to be used.

All the ones above have a cycle time, so you can't go from standing to one of these instantly.

Also add the emotes.

Hands up (for surrendering)
Plead for mercy (for hoping Vet doesn't blow you away ;) )

So really whats wrong with it? Someone just leaves a leveling area and they wana take a rest so they sit down.
As for the healing fine atm thing, i know apu's would like it alot more since they cant heal and med kits take forever.

Yes, i've never quite gotten the thing about snipers standing up.
I think they should be able to lie down, but it would take them a while to get up again.

ok ok now Vet i know you dont believe in these simple 3 letters and there meanings but this a MMORPG.

i think this would be a great addition to both the roleplay, like you know just chillin sitting on the floor in plaza 2 (nice for tradeskillers instead of just standing there) or laying in the long grass with your sniper rifle out ready to pwn which would add a nice new angle to PvP also this would bring another bit of neocron up to speed with the MMOs of today as almost every MMO now has the sit/prone feature.

What Archeus wants is what i'm thinking, but like stamina dont take more than a few seconds to genenerate. To go prone/crouch would be nice, but i'd never use the plead for mercy..
