Faster processor does the most for fps.
Then second come the grafics card.

Depends on your grafics card.

You can try to overclock your grafics card with rivatuner or some of those programs. This might help a bit.

You can overclock you cpu using speedfan or cpucool.

Won't do that much but it will help a bit.
As for the rest, go to F11 while in the game, turn force fog on (makes you see less far) and turn vegetation detail all the way down.

noooooooooooooooooooooooo... dont over clock unless you KNOW what you are doing... this voids your warranty and if you fuck the gfx card you will have no warranty to get a new one, so you will half to save the money to buy a new one... if you do this make sure you read and find out how to do it, and what you are doing...


Try closeing unneeded stuff in the taskbar, stuff that you also may have opened, IE Internet explorer/mazilla/notepad...

Turn off the vegitation detail.

Also if your computer is runing hot it will probly down the preformense and FPS, at lest i think it would O_o...
