It's nice to know you need 10 vehicle energy packs before you run out to J_08 for the 2nd generic epic mission. It's a very very long run if you can't GR anywhere because of clans owning ops.
Same for snow whites for the protopharm.. or something I can't remember for the tangent epic. Or when they say "go to a village. I'm not sure which one, but go to one" it's nice to know where you have to go instead of walking all over the place.

IIRC they do have the epics there. One of them is broken, I think ProtoPharm takes you to a generic template or something, besides that they're all there, basically copied from CronCom but laid out a bit better.
