i want to know what i can tweak to make NC run alot better.

Plz put detailed instructions as i have a friend i would liek to do this to on his PC, but won't be able to look back on here.

hmmm...

Inside the ini file in NC folder there is an ini called net, raise the maximum bandwidth from 2000 to whatever you like, something sensible obviously.

Should increase your FPS's, did for a good friend of mine, and myself

I recommend going to ur graphics card settings, and chaging it to performace, and also having fogging on in neocron itself.

Works for me brilliantly, steady 70 fps in the city, and 20-30 in OP wars

AMD does not make a 3 gig chip. You probally mean the 3000+ which is 2.16 gigs.

Only IDE HD i know that's 10k rpm is a WD Raptor, and they dont make them in 120 gig flavours.

There are also SCSI 10k and 15k rpm drives, but again they dont make them in 120 gig, 146gig and the next one down is 73gig.

right are you pathetic or acting stupid, you have a super dooper computer yeah and you dont seem to understand that neocron uses a very shite game engine, the only good thing you could do is get the FPS to run much faster.

What do 3 gig amd's run at? about 2000mhz?

The only way you'll get fps up with that pc is by overclocking your cpu, you could have an X800 XT-PE and it would'nt really do nothing to nc's fps because the game doesnt use gfx cards for anything bar DX7.0 the odd time.

If you know how to overclock your cpu then go do it, if you dont then restart your pc - press delete to enter bios - find your cpu clock frequencies - up the multiplyer... I dont think you can up your FSB because your memory isnt DDR400 so you'll need to leave that at 166 FSB unless you wanted to overclock your memory as well.

Example 166 FSB x 13.5 multiplyer = 2241mhz which would do pretty good then :p

amd 3000+ run at 2.16 gig? hmm.... ok then do this if you have sufficent cooling. 166 x 14.5 = 2407mhz :p it could get pretty warm though heh

Yeah I got a Raptor SATA harddrive (10 000 rpm) at 72gb.
