View Full Version : Why cant names in chatwindow be clickable?
Some retard with a gazilion "|" as his name was flodding the chat like mad on uranus.
I tried to count the damn | but gave up.
Why cant names be like names in local? Just klick em and *poff* they are are copied to the line to add buddies or ignore ppl etc.
actually a better request would be why can't there be some sort of name filter that prevents names like that to be created. Also a font fix so certain characters don't look like others. Makes it difficult to put those in DM or what not.

Man that guy was annoying i couldn't mute him, why isn't there an option to mute someone when u right clikc on them ??? doesn't make sense ...

Hell, saturn goes down and uranus is overrun by fucktards. Pkers like mad, assholes spamming trade, damn this sucked.
Thats why ppl refer to saturn as the "asshole-server". Its actually true. o_O

well uranus has had no problems server wise for a long time anway, even pluto has and it has like 20 ppl online sometimes lol..
i haven't tried venus before, might be the new destination for me :)

Names in the LOCAL list or in the beginning of the chat window should be right-clickable with the same options as if you walked up to them and right-clicked, minus the trade option.
Also a font fix so certain characters don't look like others.

Iorghe once mentioned he was changing the font for BDoY so that very problem will be solved when it hits.

Just pres CTRL-D to reply to someone who just directed you. Pressing CTRL-D several times rotates through the last 3 direct names.
Would be nice, if KK could make sure that those three are distinct, because atm if someone directs you, then someone else directs you 3 times, the first name is gone.

you can already click someone in local and it appears in Direct, buddy and local. That is already really handy, chat would be even better :)

if you play the retard-server yourself, like i do, then you have a build in spamfilter in youre head :)
i dont think about the spam anymore, it doesnt bother me cause i yust dont read it, i read it but it yust passes my mind witouth toughts, auto-ignore lets say :)
when ya wonna trade you focus on the trades, not on the people havin a nice chat on the tradechannel :)
sumtimes (especially in the morning on weekdays when ya got a day off) its even really cosey on the tradechannel, having a chat with the few people online on those quiet mornings :)
but youre right, ya can chat on ooc also, even better true DM :)
but i do understand what ya dislike: the ones whining how uber they are and how petetic there enemy's are :) how much they own themselves and how much there enemy's are nerds, zergs, nibs and i dunno what all :)
but ya get used to it, after a while ya ignore everything that ya think is BS anyway :) and automatically :)
also: clicking on chat so the players name appears would come in handy yeah :)

Hehe, i think it was ALT-D anyway. But you can change it by using the contoloptions menu before you enter NC. There you can set the action-Button, which is ALT for me, then you can change the other commands below, by JUST pressing the appropriate key. The Actioncommand key will be appended automatically.
