Some of you may have noticed my unique style and perspective on life, my witty yet, oh so serious posts on every topic, as well as my inherent uberness in everything. So, here is how I get to be, me (by living the life I live, naturally)

Firstly, you need to live near water, and not just any water, it has to be water with boats in it... it also helps to have a viaduct, like the Romans used to have before they forgot where they put their empire. I mean, losin your car keys is one thing, losin civilisation...

http://www.dgwebb.force9.co.uk/hayle/SUNP0001.JPG

Lots of boats..

http://www.dgwebb.force9.co.uk/hayle/SUNP0002.JPG

With pretty flowers, and Palm tree's

http://www.dgwebb.force9.co.uk/hayle/SUNP0003.JPG

And cute birds :D

http://www.dgwebb.force9.co.uk/hayle/SUNP0007.JPG

A strong dietry requirement, is fat, meat, more fat, veg, more fat, pastry, and finally more fat

http://www.dgwebb.force9.co.uk/hayle/SUNP0008.JPG

An Estuary is also nice

http://www.dgwebb.force9.co.uk/hayle/SUNP0009.JPG

As well as bloody great chimneys!!

http://www.dgwebb.force9.co.uk/hayle/SUNP0019.JPG

And Triffids that weigh a ton

http://www.dgwebb.force9.co.uk/hayle/SUNP0020.JPG

Somewhere to swim

http://www.dgwebb.force9.co.uk/hayle/SUNP0023.JPG

Which isnt too far away from where we started (notice the viaduct in the bottom left)

http://www.dgwebb.force9.co.uk/hayle/SUNP0025.JPG

A modern carpark is essential to life as we know it (not that i can drive a car properly mind you)

http://www.dgwebb.force9.co.uk/hayle/SUNP0026.JPG

Best not to look out to St Ives when a costal mist desides to decend :(

http://www.dgwebb.force9.co.uk/hayle/SUNP0028.JPG

A beach is a must!!

http://www.dgwebb.force9.co.uk/hayle/SUNP0029.JPG

And 3 miles is better

http://www.dgwebb.force9.co.uk/hayle/SUNP0031.JPG

Although, the Cornish think Tourists are really stupid, so they place a sign on the edge of a cliff....

http://www.dgwebb.force9.co.uk/hayle/SUNP0033.JPG

But the view is nice, so we can forgive em

http://www.dgwebb.force9.co.uk/hayle/SUNP0034.JPG

Where i wanna live one day, is this house

http://www.dgwebb.force9.co.uk/hayle/SUNP0040.JPG

More proof we think Tourists cant find their way around...

http://www.dgwebb.force9.co.uk/hayle/SUNP0041.JPG

The Cornish take building sandcastles, very very serious like

http://www.dgwebb.force9.co.uk/hayle/SUNP0045.JPG

No ugly chicks allowed, but dont tell them that ;)

http://www.dgwebb.force9.co.uk/hayle/SUNP0047.JPG

Bit unclear, but that boat has been hacked 3 times by System Shock!! as the reg code tells you!! SS124!!

http://www.dgwebb.force9.co.uk/hayle/SUNP0053.JPG

Cause tourists really are a bit thick, we need to tell them what happens if they drive near the edge of the harbour

http://www.dgwebb.force9.co.uk/hayle/SUNP0055.JPG

And signs which are totally ignored by everyone hehehe

http://www.dgwebb.force9.co.uk/hayle/SUNP0057.JPG

Gratuitous pretty picture

http://www.dgwebb.force9.co.uk/hayle/SUNP0061.JPG

And, the escape route

http://www.dgwebb.force9.co.uk/hayle/SUNP0065.JPG

Not very clear, but if you look close, that sign obviously points to Carinth with PIMP >>>>

http://www.dgwebb.force9.co.uk/hayle/SUNP0017.JPG

And the famous St Ives costal path

http://www.dgwebb.force9.co.uk/hayle/SUNP0014.JPG

So, if you wanna know how to be me, live somewhere where the most important thing you gotta worry about, is wether or not to put sunblock on :p Hope you enjoyed a peek at where I live ;)

I dunno, gets pretty interesting on days like today (really hot, I came home after takin them sweatin like Kyle does when his monthly issue of Shaven Hussies arrives) cause tourists tend to hit the beach and remove almost all their clothes, so it does have some perks :D

That and the train station takes you to Penzance or Truro :p

Cornwall is cool.

Just the Cornish are slightly... odd. You get the otherside of the Tamar and it all goes downhill. All those damn grockles as well.

I live in Devon btw, so I know what I'm talking about. :p

you might have blue flags, but we have red flags, they mean "DONT SWIM HERE" unfortunatly, the Harbour Company has dredged too much of the sand up, so the shape of the beach has changed a lot over the past 10 years, for some reason they never figured out, if you remove sand, there is plenty more to replace it.

Why would we want your sand for? Our sand is pure as the driven sand :p

The viaduct, is a railway bridge these days, in the olden days, this town used to have some activity, the area in the first pictures, is due to be turned into a massive harbour complex costing 180Million (or about the cost of a few MC5 chips)

No-one told the Cornish to put their boats in the water yet I see. :p

/edit - Talking of silly signs for tourists. A mate found one on the Dales that said "Please do not shoot this sign". Yes, of course it was full of holes and no, I have no idea what clown put it there.

I hate the sun. I hate the beach. I always get a cold or the flue in the summer for some reason.

I love the winter. Wrapping up in the cold, feeling warm and cosy yet so refreshing.

I don't really like beaches with palm trees either. I prefere forests with massive oaks.

And whats with all those summer houses? Give me a 200 year old house in the middle of nowhere anyday. Yeah, those neighbours can't complain now can they?

I just wish I lived somewhere like that rather than in some suburban area in bloody Grantham!

Bleh!
Man, I hate Summer.

Internet? well, we just get two guy to run to Plymouth, they are called Number One and Number Zero :p (well, ok, we have 3 different types of Broadband in Hayle, Sattelite, Wireless (with no contention ratio) and ADSL, so we are kinda more advanced than most other parts of the UK ;))

Cool pics, Lexxuk !

btw, tourists are stupid :p ; where I grew up, Anchorage, Alaska, there are miles of mud flats that look like beaches. If you walk out there, you'll get stuck up to your knees; when the tide comes in...... . The State finally put signs up.

Is that the restaurant in the "Northern Girls" video? (from the guy that made the Spong monkeys and the Viking kitties.)
