Now i realise why i stopped watching england many years ago, its stupid cockups like that that always cost them the games, england are a team who always throw it away after working hard to get anywhere.
France took full advantage of the situation and well played the french, I mean missing a penalty, ok its bad but the game goes on, we was still winning at that point, then we give a freekick away on the edge of the box, bloody idiots, 1-1, then a stupid backpass and David James who is imho one of the wierdest choice for a goalkeeper goes and picks the guys legs up and throws him about, oh look im in the penalty area :mad:

I got pissed and was all like ehhhh then we lost and i was a bit pissed i went upstairs to go to bed early and i noticed the Computer was on and NC was still loaded so i went on game pissed and died so if i lost anything french people are KoS

Personally I think you deserved to lose because once you scored a goal you were all certain you would win and I had to mute trade because of they we are so uber shite you were all spouting.

England play exactly the same in major championships against the big teams. We sit back, don't keep possession, and hoof long balls to our 5ft1 strikers. Then suprise suprise, by 60mins the players are absolutely knackered. I'll admit it was the right tactics to play against France because if we had played them at their own game they'd have slaughtered us.
Still, the pain recedes today, we are still in it after all, and hopefully this will be the low point. Its much easier to take a 3-0 defeat you deserve rather than losing in such a cruel way. Plus the French were poncing about at the end so the England players will use that as motivation.
Oh, and I wonder if Heskey realises the number of young lives he just snuffed out. Its a fact that after major England victories the number of pregancies explodes. Many menfolk were getting ready to do the deed before that disaster struck.
Ahahaaha I just realised why Nidhogg is absolving David James for the penalty. :lol: Club loyalty eh? He's right of course, Gerrard screwed up, but lets not forget Ashley Cole didn't deal with the ball, forcing Gerrard to play it blind.

King and Rooney were by far the 2 best players on the pitch, Zidane had a few good moments then slapped us at the end for getting stupid and complacent...
If England had managed to keep calm, they would have won.
But Zidane has nerves, Henry has willingness => France won.
England lacked those 2 skills and got beaten.
4 years ago, the French taught the Italians how to put back tops on bottles of champaign. I guess it's more difficult to do on a pint of lager ;)
Anyway, I truly think that England will make it to the finals and a revenge is still possible.
