black screen HELP :)

i get past the launcher and it goes to connect to neocron and before i get to login screen i get black screen and it just stays there can anyone help ??

Hmm
I had the same problem when I was using a FPS program on the background (fraps).Check your taskbar whats running in the background, or check the windows task manager (CTRL+ALT+DEL).Maybe there is a virus scanner or whatever active on the background.
In the task maneger click on "processes" . If you use winXP, Shut down every proces with your windows username behind it, except explorer.exe ,iexplorer .exe and taskmaneger.
Start up NC again maybe the problem is solved now.
If not re-install nc (dont forget to back up the patches ;) )
